• Re: What if.....

Yep that would be the BIG problem. Instalation... Especially since the vision of Logos is to push any new resources down via the internet.

  • What if.....

May it never happen... but what would happen to all of our investment (and resources) if the company folded? Since all of the resources and the application for that matter are linked and tied back to your servers. Would we still be able to install and use the application and resources with out "the cloud"? • Logos Notes

Normal 0 It would be great if in the file open dialog box the entries would be grouped by type and alphabetical. Also, I may not use NOTES as they were intended. Since I am a terrible speller, I generally make my notes in WORD then copy paste into the notes section. I noticed that the table and colors I chose for my note appeared to save. But the next
Would it be enough if we just adopt the background color you've set for windows in Windows itself, or do we need "local" control specific to Logos?
Normal 0 local would do, but could see where the ability to set it resource specific would also be beneficial... the comment about skins would be awesome, but overkill

  • Logos 4 Crash

Normal 0 Anyone else experiencing L4 crashing today? This is at least the third if not fourth time it has crashed since the upgrade. Not saying I am not the culprit… This last two times it crashed I was working in notes and the time before that clippings. This time I had just pasted a URL link to Holman Illustrated Bible Dictionary and clicked in the

  • Re: Questionable Resource Types

Possibly not the best place to ask this particular question... What is the definition of a monograph? I have looked in the help file L3 and L4 as well as in the formums for a suitable definition. The lion share of my resources fall under this type and appears to be "we didn't know where to put this resource" data type. Thanks T

Thanks guys. It was me. I was highlighting/ selecting the verse before clicking on Referance note. Just Right clicking in the verse did it! Todd

  • Re: bible notes

Tried both suggestions. The visual filter option only gives me the note in the translation I made the note. So if I make a note in ESV it isn't available in NKJV.

  • Re: Guides - Bug?

That makes sense. It was a guide I created, but it was probably based on the PG. I got the same result when I used the normal PG.thanks! Is there an easy way to just search through "My Content"?

  • Guides - Bug?

Any reason why... When I start to type a topic in the guide say... "nations of Genesis" that the guide over rides what I type and chooses to search in stead on "Leviticus 8:1-33"? This is beginning to happen more often, that the topics I want to search on are over-rided by what the system "thinks" I really mean. I even let the drop down box finish thinking

  • Re: Resource Associations...

Normal 0 This is what I did. I had my NASB opened and link set to A. Then I opened a few commentaries specifically New Manners and Customs, Bible Knowledge Comm and Tyndale Comm. All three of the commentaries were also link set to A. The main commentaries had entries for most if not all of the verses I was studying; however, as you know the manners

  • bible notes

In L3 we could post a note on a verse, say John 1:1, and in any translation (or resource laid out in bible format) that note would pop up. Is this still working? I've tried several different translations and different notes on part, on all and anything in between to get the note to show up in another translation. Thanks for the help. Todd

  • Re: Links to books in L4 library within notes

I have tried and it didn't work. The link works in word, but when I copy it into Logos 4 notes its only pretty blue text with a line under it. Its as if the copy/paste stripped out the hypertext formatting. If I try to copy the full line of my text , it shows up as text and not hyper text. Missing a crucial point in the copy paste. Any ideas?
