Can someone show me how a syntax query should look when you are trying to find all the places where husband is the subject of the verb love? Thanks.

Same here. I think it is a glitch is the fonts. I remember the HDNT and the Greek discourse first came out, they had a similar problem with the fonts. Hopefully a fix soon.

It is not a bug. The PG will return hits even if the location is in the footnotes, which prove most of the time to he helpful as well.

Hey Rick, I dont seem to have an appdata file in my Michael folder. What next?

This is a standard update. I am running, already, the latest major update. But this was a 275mb update that downloaded but would not load.

I am very disappointed that it seems that Logos 4 cannot do a text comparison like L3 did; particulary where it highlights the variances, and it sems no easy way to build a query for all your original language texts. Unless I am missing something. Let me know if I am. Thanks. If I am right, I beg Logos to bring that bavk.
-
Absolutely, thank you. How many bibles can you add? I like to compare all Greek manuscripts including the 100 or earliest greek manuscripts. Is that possible? Which button to the right does what? Thank you very much.

My father had the same problem on his laptop and was told the same thing from Logos (needed a larger video card). Logos 4.0d fixed the problem. My fahter wanted to say "Thank You" to the developers at Logos.

Does anyone out there have a built search query for searching Greek manuscripts; including the Earliest Greek Manuscripts, and are willing to share it? If so, could you please tell me where to save the query. But if not, can anyone tell me how to build such a query in Logos 4. I had this in Logos 3 and I really miss it. Thanks
-
I want to be able to search the original Greek manuscripts to see any textual variances. In Logos 3 you could build a search query with your selected bibles put in. I want to be able to duplicate that kind of searching.
-
but is there an option for the text comparison where it highlights the variances?
-
Thanks Graham, So if I understand you right, whatever versions I use, it, be default, will remember those. Is that right?

Can someone explain to me again the operation of the paged view. I know the space bar goes forward but how do you go back? Thanks,

Purchased new book from Logos and received email that it has been added to my resources. However when I "update now" it says no downloads available and the new book does not show in my library. I have started Logos a couple of times and tried to repeat, all to no avail. Any ideas?

No, because I do not believe the idea is in the Scriptures. I was asked by someone and I am just trying to verify my thinking.
Michael, I actually agree with you....I've just heard people quote it....that's all...
Robert, I did not take offense at your quote. Just making sure

Searching all text in Logos library for: rapture WITHIN 50 WORDS saved => finds many results. Keep Smiling
I appreciate that. However, can you limit that (I am not at my Logos computer at this time) to just Bible text. Because the word

I think it probably goes without saying that it will be high.

I just got through reading a thread on the speed of Logos (or lack thereof) that contained 145 posts. As a Pastor of 18 years and using Logos for 14 of those years, I have seen the progression of Logos Bible Software. I would say that conservatively I had happy with most of the changes that I have seen. Logos, as I have said may times, is the best Bible
Michael, Unfortunately the graphical RAM issues include not just book covers but text. The .NET/WPF engine that L4 is built on is the culprit. Though my understanding of the issue is sparse at best; it is my comprehension that even a pure text screen driven by WPF would be video intensive.
Thanks, Thomas. Understood
Morris manual does not cover Synt searches, per Logos customer serv/sales.
John Fallahee covers syntax searching in his training videos. Very reasonably priced. www.learnlogos.com
