• Re: early bird for Calvin 500

Although it's dated for today there is no guarantee that you will get it today and certainly not until they are open and can process the credit cards. Wasn't the P in TULIP for patience! :) Tom
I would recommend you look at the abridged TDNT. It is very useful and saves a lot of reading when you don't need the detail of the unabridged version. It is $60.00 from Logos. http://www.logos.com/ebooks/details/tdnta
I've never used the Abridged TDNT as my Greek exegesis professor 15 years go said it was useless

  • Re: Suggestion: NASB77 Version

I would buy the NASB '77 depending on the price. Given that it takes up little space and can be helpful to reference, especially in reading older books that rely on it, I wouldn't mind having it. I'm a little confused about why the NASB77 and the BAGD 2nd ed are no longer sold in Logos. I suspect it might have something to do with licensing and the

  • Suggestion: Add opt out for "Last Chance" emails

Presumably the "Last Chance" emails are included under the category of NewsWire but I seem to be getting more than 3 or 4 per month. I received one today and one yesterday and another Newswire for February on the 13th. Please allow me to opt out of last chance emails but keep the monthly Newswire roundups. Thanks!

The upgrade applies if you have the set originally developed by Ages (sold by Logos) but not if you have the Galaxie set (sold by them and others). Tom

  • Re: Pre Pub Pricing ( Baker Books)

I agree that these books don't belong on the pre-pub page given its stated purpose. Obviously Logos doesn't have another page but perhaps with hundreds of Baker titles coming (all singlely?) it might be a good idea. On the whole I don't think this process is going to work but perhaps you have received enough Zondervan orders to think that it will. Personally

  • Re: Pre Pub Pricing ( Baker Books)

When Logos pricing is higher than buying a print copy it makes the decision very easy. I don't think Logos is being fair to say that we should order "to send a message that we want to see Baker books." Of course we want to see Baker books but for most of these titles Logos "functionality" doesn't add anything so if I really want it (I I would have to

I would suggest you check out the discussion on Slashdot http://mobile.slashdot.org/story/10/01/26/2358237/Canadian-Android-Carrier-Forcing-Firmware-Update and this owners experience: http://www.litui.net/archives/796. Yes, it is a pejorative statement born of frustration that Google would introduce another incompatible OS to the smartphone market in an attempt to gain captive market share (e.g. Android currently only supports Google calendar). My apologies for any inordinate offense. :) By incompatible with itself I am referring to the incompatibilities between versions

This whole thread makes me glad that there are only two main computer OS and that M$ has such a large market share. If the computing world was as fragmented and as incompatible as the smart phone market we would never get anywhere. Back in I think 1991 I bought my first PC and was making the choice between an Apple IIe and an IBM PS/2 Model 30. The

  • Running L3 and L4 together is the cat's meow!

I've been running both version 3 and 4 together for some time now and I have to say that it's awesome. I just realised today how much nicer it is to have both. Both versions have their strengths and limitations but put them both together and you can have two windows of work space encompassing the strengths of both. As of the moment I am hoping that

Yes, L4 will update automatically. The L4 beta has had some problems on some machines so unless you are computer savvy I wouldn't recommend installing it. They are currently on beta version 7 so I think they will have an RC soon. If you want to know more check out the beta forum or the wiki (link at the top of this screen). It will tell you how to download
Hi Kolen - I just did a search for 上帝 (no quotes, no space) and it works perfectly:
Peter, It's only the beta release that has fixed Chinese searching in L4. I am hoping that they release the current beta to all users soon for that reason. In the meantime L3 works just fine.

Is it possible you ordered the CD and then when Logos4 was released they changed your order to download? The reason there are two numbers for every resource it that one was CD and the other download. Tom

I would imagine that in two or three years version five will be released and then they will have new packages and new pricing and a new 25% promotional period. Good things come to those who wait...and wait...and wait...but it sounds like you have patience!
