Logos has never given a date for them to end. Marketing has been throwing around phrases like "extended" and "ending soon" but given that there has never been a date set before us it is impossible to know. Perhaps only the father knows...Dan? If they are ending the introductory promotion soon soon I would expect to hear more from the marketing department

I'm getting the same message and I don't suspect any trouble but it is getting VERY ANNOYING. I don't even have Windows Defender set to run on my computer and yet it is still popping up. Obviously MS has no idea what Logos4Indexer is and wants to analyze the program. Hopefully they do that soon so we can stop being bothered. Tom P.S. It has only started

Thanks guys, I know how to report a typo in general but there doesn't seem to be any way to do it for the metadata. I guess I can just do a general one on the cover page or something but Foss is spelled right there. Hopefully Logos notices this and fixes the resource. Tom

I just received A General View of the History of the English Bible which had been on community pricing. It came tagged wrong in the author department spelling it Fosse instead of Foss and now I have two entries instead of one. I was really hoping that L4 would fix all these problems with authors but I can't even find any way to submit a typo on this
When we read The Great Bible Giveaway is open only to legal U.S. residents residing in the 50 United States and Canada, excluding Quebec , it reminds us Aussies of our place in the world and in the internet community. This is an all-too-frequent exclusion in internet competitions.
How would you feel if "legal U.S.

And people have to order what is offered. There are a few mission related books on prepub although what Logos labels as mission isn't usually missiology. Toward the 21st Century in Christian Mission is currently under development and may be out in under a year from first being offered (Mar 08). http://www.logos.com/products/prepub/details/3866

Every day Logos 3 pops up with a warning that my Logos 4 beta resources are expiring soon (I unchecked the show this again box so it will stop now). I think this is because Logos has changed the internal file names on these resources and therefore I no longer need this licence for them. Can anyone confirm that for these: Unknown Commerce ID: LLS:LEXBIBLE
Still, it should not disappear just by switching to another windows application (Neither should the pop-up library window, IMO). This aversion to modality has been taken too far in my opinion. These things are more than transient menus, and they aren't preventing the use of other Windows applications while they're up (i

Thanks Melissa!

I was just trying to report a typo and I wanted to paste in the correct text but when I left L4 and went to my web browser the Report Typo box disappeared/closed. Please "dock" it until I submit the typo. Thanks!

Does this mean that everyone needs to contact CS in order to get this order pushed through? I once had an order sit at live for a month so I suppose they will eventually get around to it but still...waiting... Tom

Unfortunately, with previous volumes it hasn't mattered where you buy it - you have to get a CD and install it. I haven't purchased vol 11 yet because shipping is a killer. This year I can combine 2 or 3 vols so perhaps I will get them... They do have some nice artwork on their covers though!

Link to TJL12 $49.95 http://store.galaxie.com/product.asp?ProductID=100 and BibSac vols 1-90 $89.95 http://store.galaxie.com/product.asp?ProductID=101 They don't seem to be listed on the Logos website yet. Tom

If you want the new resources in L4 Scholar's Library you will have to pay an upgrade fee for the newer package. If you only want to use what you already have then install L2 as mentioned and then L3 will recognise those resources and you can sync your licence with the Logos server. You will want to do this anyway because, as mentioned, you can no longer

With all due respect this says more about the crazy list prices than about what a great deal this is. Obviously NO ONE would pay $3600 for this, especially as all the reviews can be read online for free. I bought it on prepub for the convenience and it was considerably less than $200. Tom

If you can get them on CD in L3 format then they would be available for download in L3 format from the ftp site and therefore after you receive them in L4 you can just download the appropriate files into your resources folder. Make sure you sync your license file first so that you will be able to access them. Tom

The transliteration and gloss that you have circled isn't from CHALOT. I think Logos is combining multiple entries and only referencing the following lines which come from CHALOT. I searched my entire library for "desired; delighted" and came up empty. Tom

The first deal is already up - Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol for $0.95. Hopefully something a little newer comes along. I must confess I have seen the movie and read the children's book but never the original.
I hate to admit it, but they know that their resources are so valuable that the majority will buy them no matter the discount. I will certainly upgrade my best-of's from Pradis regardless of the discount. I'm hoping for more (and think more is fair) but 35% is better than nothing (which is what they could do)
I couldn
