If you can get them on CD in L3 format then they would be available for download in L3 format from the ftp site and therefore after you receive them in L4 you can just download the appropriate files into your resources folder. Make sure you sync your license file first so that you will be able to access them. Tom

The transliteration and gloss that you have circled isn't from CHALOT. I think Logos is combining multiple entries and only referencing the following lines which come from CHALOT. I searched my entire library for "desired; delighted" and came up empty. Tom

The first deal is already up - Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol for $0.95. Hopefully something a little newer comes along. I must confess I have seen the movie and read the children's book but never the original.
I hate to admit it, but they know that their resources are so valuable that the majority will buy them no matter the discount. I will certainly upgrade my best-of's from Pradis regardless of the discount. I'm hoping for more (and think more is fair) but 35% is better than nothing (which is what they could do)
I couldn

That sounds like the updates resources that were released last week. When was the last time you ran L4? Tom

If you haven't already read today's blog post you will want to because it tells you how to do this: http://blog.logos.com/archives/2009/12/using_your_new_logos_4_resources_in_logos_3_or_logos_for_mac_1.html Tom

Apparently it's all in how you phrase your issue. This has now been reported to development. http://community.logos.com/forums/t/5901.aspx Tom

Yes, but in this case Logos has to receive their supply from the publisher just like any other bookstore/distributor. They may have finished already but it has to be pressed and the packages made and then distributed by IVP.
-
This is being distributed by the publisher rather than Logos so it probably won't tell you. I got an email from Amazon.ca today saying that December 14 would be the shipping date. Someone else noted that the publisher's website now says January so perhaps it will be delayed until then. Tom

If it's the Logos IVP collection then it will work fine with Windows 7. All Logos collections are dependent on the library engine. Both Logos version 3 and 4 work great with Windows 7.

I must have missed the manual in the glove box because last I checked it was $60 extra...
Rosie, It looks like production is taking longer than expected. The products own webpage lists the expected date as "January 2010": http://www.ivpress.com/cgi-ivpress/book.pl/code=4279
:( I need this to come out in 2009 for my book budget.
Actually now that I think about it, I wonder when Volume 12 is going to be released? Anyone know? EDIT: Just swapped emails with Galaxie. Volume 12 is due out in the next week or so. (very soon)
Next week - that is good news! +2 on the collection as a whole. Very reasonable in price ($1 a year per journal) and

I realised the problem - it's because the table of contents was open. In the NRSV I was scrolling with it open and it stops not just every chapter but every time there is a new heading. VERY annoying as there can be six headings per chapter. Tom
-
As I read the TNIV I scroll down using the arrow key. (Almost) every time I come to a new chapter it stops scrolling and I have to tap my mouse cursor to get it to start scrolling again in the next chapter. I haven't found any other translations that act like this. Tom
-
It would be nice. Every time my engine updates it starts indexing and then downloads an additional 174MB or so of stuff. I think it is Galaxie TJL material which is some kind of bug mentioned a while ago. I can't know for sure as it no longer details what it is updating. I don't have time to try and figure it out at the moment but it is costing Logos

I believe the EULA is based on Genesis 2:23-24. That should cover any concerns you have. (Pun intended). Tom
