• Re: Bug with NDI audio and web pages

We’re now experiencing this crackling on all background audio. It’s coincided with using a second output for our stream (rather than the standard slides). I’m not sure if thats what triggered the issue but I’d be grateful if someone could look into it, as it’s making our streams very hard to listen to.

It’s nice to be missed. Thank you. For the last year or two I’ve been working in the IT department of a Christian non-profit, rather than for my church, so I spend far less time in Logos than I used to. I’ve remained in the same church, but as a lay-elder rather than the pastor. I still try and keep an eye on the forums, but rarely post. That may change

  • Bug with NDI audio and web pages

We've configured Proclaim to send an NDI output. It works great – except when Proclaim is playing an audio loop and displaying a webpage. The non-NDI output works just fine. To reproduce: Configure Proclaim to send an NDI output. Add a webpage to your Proclaim presentation, from the Add Item menu. Add audio to your webpage by hovering over the service

  • Two media problems in our service this morning

Proclaim has been rock-solid for us for months, but today we had TWO significant media-related issues in our morning service. Here are the logs from that service: 637519198375734016_Proclaim.log Proclaim.log There are two logs because I restarted Proclaim in the hope that it would start working. It didn't. I'd appreciate it if someone could look into

TrendMicro are a reputable company to offer security advice. Better to hear from them than from Faithlife whose expertise is elsewhere. That said, the gist of the thread is that ISP-supplied routers and modems are often badly secured and/or use default passwords. If ISP-supplied router is a few years old, that’s likely to be even more true. Contact
Mark - did you ever get things going with Stream Deck and Proclaim? Any suggestions or discoveries?
It's all fairly straightforward. It takes four steps and about 10 minutes to configure. These are the steps for Windows. Install and configure a virtual midi-port. Download and install loopMIDI . Add a virtual port

We run all our online services with just Proclaim and Zoom. It works pretty well, I think. Here's last Sunday's example: https://vimeo.com/474374046

I'd like to see the following resources tagged: The Journal of Biblical Counseling The Journal of Pastoral Practice Everything by Jay Adams, especially The Christian Counselor’s Manual: The Practice of Nouthetic Counseling I'm not quite sure how it would work, but I'd also like the guide expanded to cover counselling methods, rather than just topics

  • Re: Preaching on Zoom using Sermon Builder

Preaching Mode doesn't display slides, just your notes. To display slides, you'll need to export them to PowerPoint or Proclaim and then run your presentation separately from Preaching Mode. If you use Proclaim, then Preaching Mode can advance the slides as you advance through your sermon . If you use PowerPoint, you'll need to advance them yourself

I couldn‘t put up with his style either. I don’t know if that’s because of my age, or because I’m British. Or perhaps I’m just grumpy! Logos’ YouTube channel has a series of mini tutorials on each of the new features which are much more watchable. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXkjd_l1xkSSUMKcG008D9NAcLTaxA2Qc

I’m not sure we have a definitive answer, but the strong likelihood is that the new Factbook will be in Basic, but some of the datasets needed to power it fully won’t be.

Hendriksen's Commentary on Romans now has a title and series that is totally different from the rest of the volumes in that series. I appreciate there's some ongoing work to standardise commentary titles, but could we please ensure that there's consistency WITHIN the series. The Romans commentary series is "New Testament Commentary", whereas the other
