Every page on Logos.com loads https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/fbevents.js Among other things, it will allow Logos to add demographics into their analytics: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-pixel/implementation/ If you don't like the tracking, block it with Privacy Badger .

  • Bug 8.10 RC1: Linked search triggers for popups

When using the new linked search feature in my ESV Bible, Logos executes a search every time I click on a cross-reference indicator. Surely the search shouldn't trigger when someone clicks on a popup?

  • Re: BUG? {{dtext ref= 3 Ezra 1:5}} generates no text in PB

MJ, as you know Esdras/Ezra is a minefield. 3 Ezra is a weird way to reference it – an anglicised version of a Latin reference system. In Logos (rightly, in my view), the Vulgate datatype uses 3 Esdras to mean what you are calling 1 Esdras/3 Ezra. If you specify the datatype (vul2) in your dynamic text reference, then I think Logos might be able to
If the journals obtained through Faithlife are better tagged and better functionality than those obtained through Galaxy, wouldn't it make sense to get the Master Journal first and then Galaxy's?
There are not going to be two copies of the resources. It will make no difference what order you buy them in.

Just to be 100% clear: you need to own BOTH the bible and the reverse-interlinear dataset. The grey box on https://www.logos.com/product/135999/interlineardatensatz-zur-schlachter-bibel-2000 makes this clear. Depending on your base package or feature set, you may already own some reverse interlinear datasets. Here are the German ones: https://www.logos

I get this result in the EEC commentary on 1&2 Samuel. There it's caused by the word 'NIV84', while the word 'NIV' behaves appropriately. All the errors I've seen do seem to be related to the hovertext (i.e. I've not yet seen an error that doesn't have hovertext).

Kevin, Call Customer Services (800-875-6467) and they should be able to locate your old account. Perhaps it uses an old email address? Then they can merge your old account with your new one and your old resources will automatically download into Logos 8.

  • Re: How do I de-prioritize a resource in a commentary set?

An alternative method to doing this is to rename the series of the older volumes to something like "Tyndale Commentaries (Old)". Then you can prioritise those volumes separately. You can also rename multiple volumes at the same time. You can rename the series from the information pane in the library.
