  • Re: Highlights Automatically Being Saved into Notebook

I did find this quote in the Logos Help file: "Notebooks are groups of notes that have been gathered together by the user based on highlighting style, palette, topic, or other feature." But I don't see that feature.

  • Highlights Automatically Being Saved into Notebook

In a previous version, my highlights were able to be saved into respective notebooks. I set it up under the highlighting features edit. With the attributes and labels now, there seems to be no option for automatically sorting highlights by type. For example, if I want the yellow highlights put into a folder called Character of God, or the orange highlights

  • Printing or Exporting with Book, chapter and verse

I've been using Logos 8, free edition, for about two years. I save verses to notebooks by topic. When I want to export or print the notebook, the verse itself shows up, the actual words of the verse. However, it does not show the reference or any anchors. Preview screen on program Preview screen of print/export Is this a "feature" of the free version

  • Auto filing of highlighting missing, permanent or temporary?

Before the update, I had set up my notes/highlighting so that when I highlighted in a certain style, it would automatically file it in a certain folder. On my desktop this still works, it files it under a certain NOTE. But on my phone/iPad I have to do this as two separate actions, highlight then note"book". I tried to use the former notes system on

Sweet. Thanks for this advice. It worked for both my iPad and iPhone! I hope you'll go through the other post like this and explain. I didn't find this simple answer under those questions.

  • HIghlights missing in Mobile App, visible on desktop

On both my ipad and on my phone, all of the thousands of color-coded highlights and note-links are missing with the update. As soon as I opened my ipad, the highlighted passages on the screen were covered by an announcement of the update, then disappeared after I dismissed the message. This is for all notebooks, all notes. Nothing connected to the ESV

I'm asking again, now with Logos 8 on the table. I've been working for almost a year according to the previous comments, and have my texts highlighted/notes made. But this update still does not show the Bible verse addresses (anchor texts). Is there a way for the printout to show anchor texts ? The preview shows anchor text, highlighting, and notes

  • Re: Printing notes with anchors

Yes, I have the same problem. It's a big issue, I think. I hope others will agree with me to ask for this feature. When speaking of Scripture, the anchor text is the WHOLE POINT, not our comments about it.

  • Highlighting by Theme

Related to the answers given HERE , (Originally miscategorized as Logos 6). Here is what I've done that has streamlined the process of highlighting and note-taking (annotating) (while using two devices--desktop & iPad). HIGHLIGHTING AND NOTES 1. On Desktop Logos 7, under highlighting pane I created new palettes, labeled for my categories. Yellow

I have been trying to use the system you explain. I realize this is miscategorized, since I am actually using Logos 7 as well as iPad. I'll begin a new topic under iPad and Logos 7.

Let's say I have three different colors I use for highlighting. Yellow, green, red. Let's say I want to pull out (and export) all the yellow highlights with the verses, citations, and any notes I've written associated with the yellow. Since I have only been highlighting my Bible with colors like this, I want a way to be able to use Logos to pull together

Just one clarification, please. With the beta, will the highlights and notes you describe transfer over into similar functions? In other words, will the upgrade *enhance* the highlights/notes or will it make them obsolete?

  • printing highlights and notes

I am new to Logos, and am trying to find out how to use this for my needs. I will be categorizing Bible verses into several groups as I read. Ideally I'd use different colored highlights that show as I read. During the reading and sorting I will comment on them with notes. Then I want to export them by the sort (color), with verse number and notes,

  • Highlights by Color, Tags, or Clippings?? How to...

I am using a new iPad (11.4), and am trying to understand the best way to begin highlighting and note-taking with Logos. What I need to do is to sort verses by category, and then share/export/bring in the list of verses to a document file. Ideally, I’d like to highlight by color and be able to select all yellow highlights, for example, and send
