OK. I think I remember a red cover on the SGNT. So, perhaps that was for the old generic design...
-
I am missing some book icons that were there before the latest round of updates. One is the SGNT Sentence Analysis resource. That is the first one I noticed. I am not sure what is going on with it because it shows its last update was 1/11/2011, not last week. And, now I see other resources with missing icons... I don't know if that is supposed to be

I also have a hard cover copy of Grasping God's Word and hoping Logos would make it available. It is an excellent book.
-
Thanks so much! I totally forgot about this setting.
-
How can I know if this code is in the copy or not?
-
I am still saving up to afford BDAG.
-
How interesting... That is it. If I copy with 'Selection', it works. If I copy with 'Reference' selected, it does not. I do not have my laptop with me, but I really think that it works for me both ways. Perhaps not.

Richard: I have tried pasting into Word, WordPad, Outlook... the text will paste and the formatting from L4, but no citation style. And, that brings up another thing. I believe it should also paste the foot notes into Word. And, it does not. I am assuming the main difference is that I am running Win7 64 on the desktop and Win7 32 on the laptop. Maybe
-
Yes it is...
-
I have Thayers near the top.
-
On my laptop, running Win7 32bit, the citation styles seem to work. On the desktop machine, Win7 64 bit, the citation styles do not work. What I mean by this is that if I select text and right click on the selection, then select Copy [passage], then paste to Word or anything, it simply copies the text with no citation. I usually use the APA Citation

I noticed the on the upgrade page, it says the suffix is changing from LE to KF? What is the difference between the two?
-
Okay, now I feel like an idiot. I finally figured it out. I remember now that I renamed the layouts a few days ago I had renamed the very shortcuts that are not working-which means the target is gone. Oh well, I should know better...
-
I have never had this happen before, but now I have shortcuts in the shortcut bar that are not working. They simply show the name of shortcut on hover, but will not activate on click. The ones that work show the thumbnail image of the shortcut target. I don't know if this is due to an interruption in indexing on the last resource update of a few days

Yes, there is a limit to the number of verses the EG can process.
http://wiki.logos.com/Bug$3a_Exegetical_Guide_$22Word_by_Word$22_limited_to_15_verses
Thanks for the info, all.
Yes, there is a limit to the number of verses the EG can process.
I seem to have found it. I feel like the owl on the old Tootsie Roll pop commercials. [I have now revealed an approximation of my age].

Is there a word or verse limit with the Exegetical Guide? I have run the passage John 11:17-44 twice and it only processes vv. 17-31. My workaround is to open a second EG for the remaining verses. This is not a big deal, just unexpected.

Dave: You reported your Desktop testing at 983. How does it compare in your perception of performance to your laptop? Is it perceptibly 3 times faster?
Searches are about 2-3 times faster (as per L4's time). Full indexing is about 3x faster. The desktop has better response (lag) times

I'm wondering if a Novabench score of about 400 is the minimum needed to run Logos 4.
Hi Steve My laptop has a score of 268 and I normally find performance of Logos 4 acceptable Graham
In which case 300 should be the minimum because I find performance
