I know this is an old thread, but somewhere along the line, Logos has made progress! If you check my initial post, you will see the problem I was trying to solve. I now see (using Logos 7.2) that when I do a search, there is a way (eventually) to get the compact list of references I want to paste into in a Word doc. Run the desired search Save as a

@Dave: (Upon whom I can always count to be helpful. Thanks!) Screenshot works, but I need it to be editable. @SaschaJohn: I could export to Word. I just couldn't get the layout I wanted. @Doc B: Eureka! Somehow I got locked into thinking that I needed to go the Export route. I didn't think of just copying the text in the Text Comparison window and then

I'm using Logos 7.2, but I'm also a BibleWorks user. I'm looking at making some changes, so this is not a 'who is better' complaint. I'm really hoping Logos can accomplish a task that I regularly do. For my Greek students, I like to generate a list with the Greek NT and below it a variety of English versions in something of a literal to dynamic order

Very impressive that you not only notice that it's not the Via Dolorosa but even know where the pic is actually located! HERE is the Google street view with the security camera you mention!
-
I'm having the same problem with the FaithLife Study Bible Videos. I am indeed online! Using Logos 6.11 SR-1 on a Win10 system
-
Excellent! Thanks, Graham. I had not found that one.
-
Thanks, Erwin! Yes, I saw that article (because I recently did use it to install Logos 6 on a new computer), but I'm just trying to move to another drive on the same computer. Actually, I'd be happy just to move the index files.
-
A few years ago, I installed Logos 4 with laters updates to 5 > 6 on a SSD drive. Works great! BUT... I'm running out of room on that SSD drive (and I'll want to put Win10 on that drive, so I need more room), and Logos is using over 32GB of the 226GB total on that drive. I have a rather fast 2TB SCSI drive in the computer as well, so I'm trying to figure

Thanks to all! After 4.5 days, I was still at 76% indexing, and I gave up. Using Method 2 advised by Fred (and after renaming the Logos directory as noted by Dave), I uninstalled Logos from the microSD, reinstalled on the SSD, copied over the specified directories, and ran the scan to update locations. Indexing took about 2.5 hours. I am also happy
-
Thank you Fred and Don. It appears I didn't lose all the previous indexing work since it is now at 50% after 4-5 hours. Don, yes, I'm wondering about the CPU... This is the nex Intel Core M 5Y71 listed at 1.2GHz but with with a "Turbo mode" of 2.9GHz. Once indexing is done, I'll see how satisfactory this works. Oh, and it is integrated graphics which

Last week I installed Logos 6 on a new Win8.1 machine (Dell Venue Pro 11) with an Intel M @ 1.2GHz, 8MB RAM, and a 230GB SSD with a 128GB microSDXC UHS-1 (rated 48 MB/sec). Between system files, Office 2013, etc., about 2/3 of the SSD was filled, so I installed Logos on the microSD drive. Why? Because I have Logos Gold plus quite a few other resources

Thank you, Francis. It appears that the Loci citati vel allegati is not included in the NA27 edition w/ critical apparatus (which I have). I only have the NA28 text and not the apparatus. Good to know that the 28th edition does include it.
-
BINGO! Question solved! Thanks! I should have thought of that.
-
I have the NA 27 and the critical apparatus and the NA28 without the apparatus. The NA27 Apparatus resource does include the Codices graeci et latini in hac editione adhibiti, one of the appendices describing the mss. However, neither the NA27 w/ apparatus nor the NA28 have the Loci citati vel allegati which is another appendix in the hardcopies. This

I have the Nestle-Aland 28, In the Table of Contents, clicking on the Title Page and Foreword yields nothing. Whether I have the additional text critical apparatus or not, I'm thinking at least the Title Page and Foreword should be there. Is this an error or just the way it comes?

Your search parameters are clear (God in vocative in LXX), but remember that in the LXX and Koine, the nominative regularly was used where one would expect the vocative. Ps 21.2 (LXX) = Ps 22.1 (used in Mark 15.34) is a notable example.

I just posted the first part of a review on the resources in Logos 5 Lutheran Gold . I do offer some comparisons to the standard Gold as well as to other level Lutheran libraries.
-
Thanks, KeepSmiling4Jesus. For single word searches, that saves a bit of work. (But actually, in these instances, I just still use BibleWorks.)
-
Ok, not "fixed" but "implemented." Cf. my March 11 post for having already requested this. Perhaps I'm the only one...
-
Bumping this thread again. Creating a condensed list of references as noted in my initiating posts is one of the most common things I do, and Logos cannot handle it. Really, this needs to be fixed...
