The connect code for Courses has changed so you can try again and see if the new code works 👍😁👌
Yep—that did the trick. Much appreciated 👍.

Much appreciated Gents. Precisely what I was wondering 👍.
Shalom Puddin’! The coupon code for the 3 free ebooks arrived in my mailbox yesterday. The code for the MobileEd course however does not appear to be live yet.
Thank you. Actually I did see the Ebooks code in my inbox after I posted this thread (☺️)—but as you noted the MobileEd coupon doesn’t

I hope I am not overlooking the codes, but not seeing them in the usual location. Am I missing something?

but I often wonder if the free books each month are ours to keep
Yes they are yours to keep. Only resources that have a license of Temporary in the library are simply loans.
Wow—very impressive. That alone is worth the $$ to me. Thank you.

I have never thought to check & see, but I often wonder if the free books each month are ours to keep—or only for that specific month to read (?). Regardless, it’s still an excellent deal. I tell the church all the time about Logos Bible software.

Thank you much. Really excellent points & resources. I am checking into every one of these. Oh, and, yeah, I have been thinking the same thing regarding resources that would support a reference to church government in these passages—they must be in 3 Timothy, 2 Jude, or, the ultimate & most popular authority: The-Book-Of-I-Say-It 😳🕺

Note: I’m NOT attempting to discuss theology in these passages, but I‘m searching for a specific type of resource & feel it may help to provide a little background. I have to be brief so I’ll dive right in: I assume that by now many of you have seen the American (mostly Southern) pastors who are refusing to comply w. the CDC &
Please update this resource and give it extra functionality 👍😁👌 Link: https://www.logos.com/product/32501/center-for-new-testament-textual-studies-new-testament-critical-apparatus Thanks! DAL
I have been dying to get this resource but it never seems to go on sale. Please don’t tell me there’s something wrong

Wow—excellent points & references men. I just acquired Hoekema‘s book. I can’t help but think about the Father of the Figurative Hermeneutic, Origen. Gotta’ run, but greatly appreciate the input👍!

They view “the sword” as the Word of God as per numerous NT passage such as Hebrews (“...sharper than a two edged sword”), Ephesians (”...sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God”) & Revelation (“...out of his mouth went a sword...”

He and several other pastors are arguing that Romans 13 is “not referring to civil authority, but rather to church government & the NT ministry” (their exact words).
In light of the above it would be very interesting to hear their explanation as to why St. Paul

Got it. Excellent resource suggestions & points. I will be purchasing a lot of these works mentioned above. Greatly appreciated👍!

I know we aren’t supposed to broach theological topics on these forums (which I actually like), but I need to just provide a little background for clarity’s sake. I will not be too specific/theological at all & I hope this is not a violation of forum policies. A couple of pastors contacted me over the weekend to ask if I would be interested

Got it Gents—much appreciated👍.
This will refresh and reinforce what I’m learning now: https://www.logos.com/product/187016/an-introduction-to-biblical-greek-grammar-elementary-syntax-and-linguistics Got it cheaper than prepub with the code! DAL
Ughhh—I don’t think I identified myself as a pastor—hence no coupon. I also would have
I agree with the main idea behind this post. I too am a long-time Logos user, and I too find Pentecostal thought somewhat underrepresented in the Logos universe. Did Dake have some thoughts from "way out in left field?" Sure, to a preacher from another system of Christian thought. But would that person's favorite teacher

Yesssss—I have several OT Hebrew works as well as NT Greek books. An absolute must have for those who value serious exegesis.

The deep theological epistemological conclusions can never exhaust this one anthropological conundrum: Who’s on first😳🤔?
