  • Format Bible passages in SE

When you click on the add Bible text icon to add a passage to SE, there is no way to reformat the text once the text comes in. So say you have brought in a Psalm, the poetic formatting displays and there is no way to remove all of the extra spacing etc. I would love to be able to edit those passages, perhaps add ellipses at times, etc. But I love using

  • Re: No note indicators in the NET Bible?

Thanks Graham, it was odd, but I got it cleared up. When I got home, I fired up my laptop, and the notes didn't show up there either. But, it was just starting to index (must have been a download of some sort). Once it was done indexing, the notes came back on the laptop, and then, after a short delay, they repopulated on the iPad. So it seems that

  • No note indicators in the NET Bible?

All of my notes show up in all of my other resources (so far) except the NET Bible. At least on my iPad. And yes, I do have the Notes tool toggle on. Tried toggling it off and back on but no change. Thanks! Reid

  • Re: Sermon Editor

Thanks for working on it Adam - but the app version is still only working kinda-sorta. There are templates I've been using for more than a month which are unfindable. Lots of new artwork which is awesome, but almost no functionality in searching them. And all the new categories on the left pane are without clear explanation. No doubt y'all attempted

I'm experiencing this same problem as well. A number of wonky issues in SE this morning.

  • Sermon editor slide formatting

I am assuming that these tools will become more robust in the future. But if nothing else, those too,s should be identical to the those in Proclaim. For instance, drop shadow for text. If you want it, you have to go back and reformat each text slide once exported to Proclaim. If we've already done that formatting in the SE we shouldn't need to add additional

  • Sermon docs sortalbe into folders?

As my sermon notes files increase, being able to sort them into folders for series, etc. would be very helpful.

  • Sermon editor oddity

This is not a problem per se, just an oddity. Sometimes, when I go back and edit someting in Sermon Editor, the edited portion has a white background against the sepia view setting I have both on my iPad and PC. I've attached a screen shot.

  • Re: "D. A. Carson Sermon Library (Media)"

Thanks David. This is clearly something which needs to be addressed. It came up when I queried whether or not one could download the audio or video for any one of these sermons individually. Logos says no. You have to download the entire collection. Something else which needs corrected. Blessings: Reid

  • "D. A. Carson Sermon Library (Media)"

When I open this in the web app, there is no listing of the resources, just 500 identical pictures of DA on a media cover. You cannot tell which one is which. Am I overlooking some sort of layout key?

  • Re: New burp after update

Hey Todd, thanks for checking. I just went back to try again following your note, and lo and behold - it's working. What would happen is I could select the text, but after I chose "Highlight" everything would stall. The text would remain selected but no highlighting box would appear. Tried it 7 or 8 times with the same result. Now today - we're back

  • 2 New issues after update

updated to the latest version IOS app today and 2 things (after remarking that over all it IS much better). 1. Created a note on Genesis 1:31. No note icon appears. The note DOES show up in the Notes file, but not in amy Bible text. The note also appears in the Bible text of the web app. I did try the "sync data" approach but no change. 2. In checking

  • Re: Notes Issues

In order to anchor to a specfic reference in the app, you must add the note through using the 3 dot menu on the upper right, and choose "make a note." It will anchor to the specific reference, and it will show up in all Bible versions. However, when setting the notebook for the note, do not try to search for it in the search bar, scroll down instead

  • couple of wrinkles

iPad Air 2 IOS 12.1 All issues in Logos mobile app. A. When opening a sermon created in Sermon Editor for the 1st time, the app always crashes. Always. If the sermon is updated, same thing. Once it crashes and you reopen, the sermon works fine. It is just a crash on every first time open. B. Still sluggish on page turns. In reading any version. One

  • Re: Tagging or organizing sermons in SE?

Thanks Graham - both are reasonable suggestions, but a bit of driving around the corner to get into my own driveway. When you open Docs and then sermons, there they are in a nice columnar format: Name - Type - Date. Seems that just an extra column "Tags" would be boffo! Simple, and in one place. I'm not complaining, just suggestion. Maybe even another
