No problems today or last Friday at our school's chapel service. Did something change? Proclaim was smooth and responsive today - no error messages, no dropped connection with the iPad. Thanks!

Sorry to lose track of this - struggling with multiple positive COVID tests with staff and students at our church's school - not fun. For a while if I synced and restarted Proclaim on our sanctuary pc, things would be solid for the iPad remote. Did that today and had to restart the remote 3 or 4x to get through the service. Kept getting slide change

Hi - I use Proclaim Remote on my iPads extensively to preach as well as advance to different parts of the service. Recently, even though I verify that it is working correctly before the service starts, Proclaim remote begins to give slide change errors (or just refuses to change slides and returns to a previous slide), loses its "local" connection and

Thanks, Jordan - sent it a couple of minutes ago.

Replying to myself - tried it again for our 10 am chapel and the iPad app worked as expected. Never seen it strobing and freezing like that. 1 yr old iPad Pro, fully updated.

Last night I couldn't get Proclaim to sync files on my iMac, and this morning I can't get the iPad app to work correctly. It's freezing, and the bottom display of slides is strobing oddly. Restarted the app, restarted the iPad, restarted the computer running Proclaim - not getting better. Updating the presentation on my PC this morning seems ok. My

Hi, Scott, It got better, but not yet resolved. I updated our router to something modern (was a 10 yr old or so Apple router), and that helped, but I still have to pull down the opening screen to make all the slides load - maybe 10x or so. I sometimes have to go through the presentation and touch the blank spots to get them to load. It also helps a

Hi, Brandon, Today I was able to try a couple of different security settings on the router. It defaulted to “WPA2.” I first tried just turning it off completely as a test - and the difference was incredible. Immediate response, no hesitation at all. Off is not good, so I tried “WPA/WPA2,” and that was better than the default setting, and was probably

I haven’t turned on any special security features - can you give me an idea of what to look for?

Hi- I use Proclaim remote on an iPad Pro (2018 and now 2020 version) to control the flow of the service and provide illustration slides for my sermons. On both of the iPads the slides are slow to populate in the remote software. I thought it was my church’s 80mb up/down internet connection, but the iPads are even slow to populate the screens on my 1gb

Didn't work - interesting idea, though. Tried it both ways, and in both, the one I didn't want sound on still played sound. I hadn't really noticed those blue circle icons before - just thought they indicated a video item.
-
By tomorrow morning? Kidding - good to know that I'm not just being dumb and missing something. I'll have my sound guy mute the sound for that particular video. Thanks!
-
Hi - I dropped a video into Proclaim that I only want the video showing - no audio. When I mute that one, it mutes the other video I have in, from which I do want audio to play. Am I missing something, or do I need to edit the audio out of the first video? Thanks, Rev. Lawrence Becker

Hi, Justin, I THINK I attached the log files (through the options button), and sent the iPad Remote log as well. Thanks! Pastor Becker Well, maybe not - keep getting this error message Sorry, there was a problem with your last request! Either the site is offline or an unhandled error occurred. We apologize and have logged the error. Please try your

I have tried closing Proclaim and Proclaim Remote without any change. Our WiFi is roughly 100 mb up/download speed. Our router is an old Apple router. I think next I’m going to try a newer low-latency “gaming” router will let us run on the 5 ghz range. That should get us above whatever else is going on...

I’ve seen this issue occasionally before, but I thought it was distance from the router that was causing a delay, and that when I switched to local mode it would go away... But today I was setting up a new iPad Pro to use local mode, standing next to the router, and I was still getting blank slides on the remote, and it would show slide change error

It seems to be working now - I deleted the second main feed and it came up after a while. I'm unsure why the second feed was an issue this week - it's been there for months (one of my tech kids put it there, I think) - and it worked fine. It's up, now - thanks!
-
Just starting service now - it's the Main feed (which shows up twice for some reason). lt actually was left on all night and was blank when I got here this morning.

Hi again. Our sign feed is still off-line. The Amazon Fire stick picks up the time/temp, and knows what feeds are available, but the content screen is blank when it goes active. Is this the same issue as we had last week? I am using the local wifi option for my iPad, and it seems better (once I restarted the iPad), but I don't know what to do with the
