Faithlife: the product description still contains the corrupted text, as of January 1, 2021

xnman, are you certain that you anchored them to the verse "Reference," as opposed to the "Selection" in the NKJV?

The Weights and Measures Converter currently returns no results for me for the "12,000 stadia" referred to in Revelation 21:16. However, "12,000 stades ," will deliver a result. Given the fact that both ESV and NIV are popular translations and both use the plural " stadia " in Revelation 21:6, shouldn't the WMC be tweaked by the dev team to give us

Phil and James, thank you both for your comments here. A status variable does indeed sound useful.

I'm in now, too, Beloved. Thank you for putting the spotlight on this one.

I thought he was referring to this...
...This is precisely what a splash screen is...
Agreed, Kevin and Rosie, I was taking a (mistaken) guess that the OP may have actually been annoyed by the Home Page/Screen, rather than the Splash Screen, since he specified "advert," "over the top
I strongly dislike strong in-your-face branding on just about everything I buy/own, and will often avoid products or services that are too over the top. I think from Logos 9, the splash screen triggers my strong dislike, and I'd like to turn it off please. Is there a setting or file I can edit to make it go away?
Hi
Brad, if you do run into an issue with text displaying wrong, we can look into it if you post a screenshot and the version of Mac OS & Safari you're running. Thanks!
Thank you, David, unfortunately, as you'll see in this thread, attaching screen shots has somehow ceased to function in these forums

That was a good idea, Mike. I do not restart my Mac as frequently as I should.
Yeh, I know, I make it a rule to allow Apple to restart the machine every time there is an OS update ;-)
All ideas welcomed!
I know you described the workflow but just to double-check . Voila

For the past few/several weeks nothing happens anymore when I click "choose file." I'm wondering if an Apple update may have tweaked a Safari ( 14.0.2) setting that is preventing the standard file browsing functionality I have always had in the past?
That is the version of Safari I posted with. This is odd. I just read through 1 Peter in the TLV on the Web App and the formatting appeared fine until I got to chapter 4. I then went back through the earlier chapters of 1 Peter and the formatting was corrupted with excess spacing, characters jammed together within single words throughout 1 Peter. Out of curiosity, I then went back to Hebrews 3

Thank you, MJ and Mike. I have always used this work flow: 1) save the screen shot, or portion thereof using the default Mac functionality to generate the png file 2) click the paperclip icon 3) "choose file," then 4) navigate to and select the png For the past few/several weeks nothing happens anymore when I click "choose file." I'm wondering if an

The formatting in TLV for Hebrews 3:1-6 now looks good. Thank you! I still cannot post screen shots anymore, but I'm sure that's a problem I need to post in a different forum.

Personally I would LOVE to see a bulleted list of changes each time there's an update.
Me too.

Hello, James -- I will email you instructions momentarily.
Brian, could you e-mail me the instructions as well?

Good point and good idea, MJ. You just got my vote via Faithlife Feedback.

Formatting for the Tree of Life Version is pretty bad in app.logos.com. For some time now I have not been able to attach screen shots (anybody else having this problem with Safari 14.0.2?), so see Hebrews 3:1-6 in Safari in the web app vs the desktop app for an example.

Agreed!
Today is the first day I worked in Logos 9 and did not have to consult videos or help forums to do what I wanted to do. Hey, maybe there's hope for me yet???
Well done!

This should be helpful, Roger: https://wiki.logos.com/Tagging Congratulations on the new library!
