I wonder if anyone would be willing to record a short video of using Logos on an Onyx Boox recent product. I'd love to see what it looks like!

I would love to see a video of the Onyx Boox running Logos if you or anyone else out there is willing to record a short overview that shows its refresh rate and what it is like to scroll/highlight basic books.

I was really hoping they’d go for naming it the RSV3 but I think this naming indicates it isn’t as full a revision as requiring a wholly new title.

That's okay, although I admit I got my hopes up for a second that I had forgot to redeem this! One day that Craig Keener Matthew course will be mine!

I have reached out to Abingdon and got nothing. I'd also appreciate hearing from Faithlife if they ever have put an email or call into Abingdon, even if they also hit a wall or licensing dispute.

Wow, I was surprised to learn the MEV was done before CEB. I would imagine the CEB has greater support and utility in church and scholarly settings.
-
Bumping this thread because it would be helpful to have a CEB interlinear or reverse interlinear. The CEB has some great biblical scholarship behind it and a reverse interlinear would at least help know exactly what English words are associated with the source text.

Is it a good quote? Yes. Is it sinful to quote Ravi? Probably not, unless you do so out of malice or disregard for the suffering. But is it prudent or caring to do so? Definitely not. There are so many other folks out there we can appeal to besides him. I've seen some in this thread suggest that if we stop using Ravi, we should stop using everyone because

The difference is the scholarly apparatus the editors put together. This includes everything from the scripture references in notes, forwards to sermons and letters, clarifying where Wesley is citing others, and parsing older English phrasing and vocabulary for the modern reader.

Anyone from Faithlife- is NICNT going to be included as it is in the image advertising the event or was that a mistake?
-
I just saw the 12 Days of Logos image with NICNT in it. However, NICOT is the only one I see on the site now. Does this sale change from day to day? Thanks.

This is the biggest one: https://suggestbooks.uservoice.com/forums/308269-book-suggestions/suggestions/30977941-the-bicentennial-edtion-of-wesley-s-works-only-t My mistake, I thought there had been another one that I created a while back, but I didn't realize there was a different site for suggestions now. Hopefully this will gain some traction with

I think there have been several requests put in to vote for the Bicentennial Works and I've voted for all of them! Also, I agree that Abingdon doesn't see to have a big plan for digital editions, as the works aren't available on Kindle either. I'd just love to hear from someone on Faithlife to hear if they've ever got the conversation going.

Hi there, I wonder if we could ever get someone from Faithlife or Logos to give us a comment or feedback on this request? This has to be the single most important unavailable item to clergy and laypeople in the Wesleyan tradition. I would like to know if Faithlife has ever been in discussion with Abingdon? Did arrangements never make it off the ground

Isn’t it arriving the same time as the kindle version? https://www.logos.com/product/197758/the-heritage-of-anglican-theology

If folks are looking for a good Exodus commentary that is roughly along the lines of NICOT, Victor Hamilton's Exodus is a great volume. He wrote the 2 volume NICOT Genesis text and they have many of the same features. Brent Strawn, an excellent OT scholar is working on the NICOT Exodus text according to BestCommentaries. I will be looking forward to

Haha. Good one. But the publishing details on the page still say "Lexham Press, 2020" so I think we're safe!

As a United Methodist elder I think that this is an interesting suggestion, but it is one that is a bit unnecessary. The current workflow already includes places to consult systematic and biblical theology. The idea you put forward about a section for engaging "reason" in the future would be the most exciting feature, but that would typically be material

Hi Ben, Is there an update on when this course will be published?
