  • Suggestion - Linkset to the Atlas

What would be really cool would be to be able to link a bible to an atlas so that a marker on the atlas followed the bible text in the same way a commentary can follow the text ? Perhaps add a trace to the marker on the atlas to plot a path the story follows ? The information is already there and it is possible to get to locations on the atlas already

The indexing algorithm was changed to speed it up between 7 and 8 so I guess there may be a bug lurking in there somewhere

I'll second this as well. It was a nice little feature and Logos doesn't quite seem like Logos without it.

Wow. I haven't seen this on my computer. I'm really pleased because I think it would give me a migraine :-) It may be worth talking to tech support and sending them the video.

  • Re: Help Moving Logos to External SSD Drive

It is possible to map windows directories to other locations. You would need to do a search on the internet but it can work. I managed to get my library on a microSD card while the index was on the memory of a surface 2. If you have 250G internal though I would keep logos on this and move everything else onto the external :-)

  • Re: Payment plan real world costs

I don't think 1 applies any more but 2 still does. Saying that after rereading bobs comments I personally don't mind. I like the flat fee structure rather than having an interest based structure. It does feel more christian and it does allow me to buy collections I couldn't possibly afford any other way.

I've started using Trello for doing this sort of thing. Its a real shame when Logos could do it for us though.

  • Re: 2 GB ram Windows 10 Tablet and Logos

Just my experience but the limiting factor isn't RAM as such but the storage capacity of the device itself. I used to run a surface 3. It used to take 2 or 3 days to index but worked ok. I had to boost the memory with a fast micro sd card though and play about with windows so that it put the library onto the SD card instead of the 64GB storage. I found

  • Re: Mobil Ed

If you find the course "icon" in the list and then right click it there is an option "Pin to Top". This places the icon in the top area of the tools menu. Also if you left click (and hold the left button) you can select the courses icon and drag it to the top icon bar. Once you start a course the course seems to automatically appear on the logos home

  • Re: Mobil Ed

Hiya Chuck and welcome :-) There are a couple of ways of accessing your mobile ed courses. The one I prefer is to use the "courses" tool. This can be found in the Tools menu and then the courses option. this allows you to select any course you want and will start you off. The course tool is ok if want to following the course in detail including the

  • Two levels of tiles on home page

I think what would be really useful is to have a division within the tiles section of the homepage (where we can access readings, prayer lists, courses etc.). It would be great to have a section for "in progress" and a section "to do". I know its possible to note down a to do list but I would like to see this within Logos itself. I am going to use Trello

  • Re: Faithlife TV problems

I personally don't get this any more. I get problems if I have watched a video and then re-watch it - it sometimes skips to the end, but I haven't had a problem with videos pausing for a long time. Perhaps I'm lucky :-)

  • Re: Copy/Printing Bible Verses with Highlights

Hi April, Welcome to the forums :-) As far as I know the copy function doesn't copy highlighting etc. I think you could either use a screen copy function on your computer to copy an image, or you could annotate and color in a verse on the Canvas and export it that way.

  • Re: using maps

I agree Larry. I am a very visual person myself and I love to see the locations on a map. It would be great if we could automatically overlay different features over a common map rather than have different map images for different things. One day perhaps :-)

  • Re: using maps

Hi Larry, It will be good to see other people answer you but one way I can think of is to goto a part of your bible where the town is in a part of the bible that talks about tribes - (perhaps Joshua), right click on the place name and then chose Atlas from the drop down. I;m not sure if that would work but I believe that the atlas is context driven
