• Re: What if??? Modern to ANE Atlas
I like this suggestion... in the meantime, you can right-click on a point on the map in Atlas and then choose "Open in Google Maps" and it should put a marker on the same lat/long position in a modern map.
Thanks! I'll look into it!

  • What if??? Modern to ANE Atlas

You know how certain media in Logos allows one to open a picture and see what the temple mount today looks like and then a rendition of what the temple would look like if it were standing today by merely sliding a lever across the bottom? What if??? What if one had biblical maps that were also as interactive where I can see the ancient world and swipe

  • Re: Creation and Chaos: A Reconsideration of Hermann Gunkel's Chaoskampf Hypothesis

Hermann Gunkel was a scholar in the generation of the origins of Assyriology, the spectacular discovery by George Smith of fragments of the “Chaldean Genesis,” and the Babel-Bibel debate. Gunkel’s thesis, inspired by materials supplied to him by the Assyriologist Heinrich Zimmern, was to take the Chaoskampf motif of Revelation as an event that would

  • The Lament (MJ?)

My students have asked for a proper Christian's response to the Covid-19 situation. I have studied and found the lost art of "the lament" seems to be the best way forward in this case. The problem I am facing is there seems to be no comprehensive step-by-step guide to incorporating "the lament" back into one's life individually or even corporately into

  • Comprehensive Calendars' Tool?

Logos has tons of tools and even a timeline to understand so many things visually mapped out for us. Does it or could it have a tool for better understanding festivals and appointed times? For instance, one in which all the important things we know about in the Bible could be aligned to their dates in the festival calendar. First, a simple tool for

  • NEW! Same Day Release

What's the difference between the new same day release books and Faithlife e-books? I thought e-books lacked Logos' full tagging already. How does one know what one is buying? How does one order Logos products with all the tagging? Does one get the full tagging eventually or does that come at extra cost?

  • Heiser's Angels' and Demons' Books Media

When I make slides from Heiser's books Supernatural and The Unseen Realm, I get in the Visual Copy specialized backgrounds for either book to use the quote. I thought with his future books by Lexham it would hold true as it does with his "I Dare You Not to Bore Me..." So why don't these newer books get the same treatment? It would be nice if Lexham

  • LES Visual Filter for MT Variations?

Is it possible to highlight in the LES where the LXX differs from the MT using a simple Visual Filter to change the text's color in all the places where the LXX is different than MT? What about an additional color where the NT differs? Or all even all the verses in LXX quoted in the NT?

  • Re: Best App for Liturgy and Daily Office

Does Logos do this any justice presently? What would FL need to do here to make the experience better than the Kindle item no.longer available? Could they create something to deliver the full experience and have it scheduled to land with each item throughout the day so it automatically feeds the readings and prayers at the precise times?
