  • Re: Visual filter of O.T. quotes

Here's how I did it: In the Logos Help, under "Searchable Labels," I found some very helpful information on using Interactive Dataset Labels for Visual Filters. My search fields are {Label Intertext WHERE Corpus ~ "New Testament" AND Relationship ~ "Citation"} {Label Intertext WHERE Corpus ~ "New Testament" AND Relationship ~ "Quotation"} {Label Intertext

  • Bug or Suggestion: Sermon Editor Scripture Reference

I notice the Sermon Editor automatically finds Scripture references and turns them blue (as if they were a hyperlink). However, when I hover over them or click them, nothing happens. I would expect a popup when I hover over a Scripture reference, and opening the reference in a tab when I click on it. Is this the intended functionality? If so, why? If

  • Re: wish list

Does this still work? When I go to my Wish List I don't see a "Share" button - only an "Edit" button. Its a good idea though!

  • Suggestion: New Testament Manuscript Explorer Search by Reference

I was investigating the textual evidence for Matthew 6:13b, and I thought I'd try out the New Testament Manuscript Explorer. It was pretty cool to see the first manuscripts that had it, and then go to the external websites and see what they actually look like! I understand from the Overview that " It is not about finding a particular reading of a particular

  • Re: Most Important Logos 8 Bugs and Improvements for Academic/Seminary Users

Thinking about it more, as someone seriously considering seminary in the fall, I have to say the biggest thing you could add is not any new features but simply fixing the touchscreen/ pen support. Most people my age have a touchscreen laptop or convertible tablet. We expect modern Windows programs to work with mouse, touchpad, touch, pen, or any combination

Is Logos set up for writing papers within Logos? Do most people do this as a Sermon?

  • Re: Tabs and overall usability

I am very happy with Logos 8 (I never knew anything different!) but I do agree with Randy that the arrow to see the off-screen tabs is a little clunky and I hope they can improve it. I also sometimes have three columns either in portrait mode on my tablet, or dragged to the left half of my screen. I can see why they wanted to change it so the tabs didn

  • Re: Chatbots

Wow! I am very sorry for the confusion. I really like the feedback from real people, and I have a lot of fun reading these forums. I am so thankful for the Faithlife employees posting here as well as the equally helpful and dedicated users. So... Thank you!

  • Chatbots

In general I am not opposed to the use of chatbots because it is a cost-effective way of providing customer service, especially where human interaction is not necessary. In the exchange below the chatbot was funny and also solved my problem! However, I would like to know when I am talking to a robot. I assumed when I clicked "Chat with a Logos expert

  • BUG: Bizarre Deleting Behavior

When pressing and holding the delete key, characters begin replicating randomly and sometimes the delete key even works backwards (like Shift+Delete). Sometimes I'm deleting a paragraph in the middle and all of a sudden the first word of the next paragraph starts getting deleted, and there is no Undo! See below: Pressing and holding delete - how did

  • BUG: New Testament use of the Old Testament Bible Sleection

There seems to be a bug where the Bible translations do not match the the chosen Bible translation. It opens with different versions for “New Testament” and “Source”. After that it is spotty. If I click ESV, nothing changes. If I then click CSB, only “New Testament” changes to CSB. If I then select LEB, the “New

  • Re: First Impressions

I hope no one takes this as a criticism of Logos, or complaining. On the contrary, I am very impressed with Logos! I also enjoy giving feedback and doing what I can to make it better. theWord has a clipboard monitor which continually monitors your clipboard for Bible verses. Whenever you copy text with Bible verses in it, it looks them up for you and

Yes, it was that that made me wonder what perspective Logos was coming from. I thought it might be cool (and good for Logos) if you could buy alternative timelines.

  • First Impressions

I finally bought Logos, and I wanted to give some initial impressions, suggestions, and possible bugs. I decided to go with Logos over Accordance because of what I perceived to be a better user interface, a larger library, and (in my opinion) a higher probability of being there in the future. First, I am very happy with it overall. I am running a Microsoft
