  • Re: Sorting by Reference Grayed Out

I will review these responses and try some of these ways you guys shared. I really appreciate how helpful and responsive this community is! Logos is an exciting and wonderful software, but learning the ins and outs has been challenging. I can get a little OCD as well, so sorting out notes, from highlights and labels, notebooks and palettes, etc. Has

I love many different translations, however, I do kind of feel forced to use the ESV since they only use ESV in their media. Either way, still a great software! =)

Thank you, that did help. So if I make notes in the book of Judges, one day in the CSB, the other day in ESV and another day in NLT, it doesn't just sort all of the notes by scripture order, I have to choose one translation and exclude all the others? That seems strange to me. It's like it's forcing me to only work from one translation when making notes

Now I can add a link from text within a note to the web app note location, but that only links the note in my browser. Is there any way to link text from within a note to another note? That would be fantastic!

Thank you for your help Fred! It appears that you are right, i would need to Anchor both scriptures and just place the note in a "Topical Notebook" I create, or I could just Anchor each verse individually to its own Book Notebook and then tag each of them with the topic. I'm sure once I spend a bit more time with Logos 8 my mind will start to understand

  • Best Way to Cross-Reference?

Hello, I'm cross referencing Genesis 28:12 (Jacob's Ladder) and John 1:51 (Angels Ascending & Descending on Son of Man). I want this single note that has info about the connection between these two verses to show up in any Bible I'm reading and of course in each Bible Book notebook they belong in, such as Genesis notes and John notes. What is the

  • Re: Noob Help! How do I right click and select the entire verse?

Thank you Keith & Levi! That works just fine that way. I was watching a seminar on Note taking in Logos 8 and he was managing to highlight the whole verse prior to that right click menu coming up. If anyone knows that shortcut as well, I'd be happy to read it! Thanks again guys!

  • Noob Help! How do I right click and select the entire verse?

I feel like there is an easy way, that I'm clearly missing, to just right click and select an entire verse instead of just the word. Anyone able to help me out quick? Thanks =)
