I sent an email to suggest@logos.com the other day Hi Logos staff Could you please consider making Indonesian Bibles available (for mobile)? I read this from Bob Pritchett in response to a question about translations. "The biggest issue is usually securing files and permission from the copyright holder, not the cost of production. Yes. Many other apps and online sites have the Indonesian Bibles for free - as you said, youversion Bible is free, as is Bible.is. Olivetree charges $16. I would be very happy to pay for it on Logos. As Mike said, is there anyone from Logos who can comment?

Hi Mike It was available on Indonesian Bible society years ago in the Libronix days. http://www.alkitab.or.id/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=101&Itemid=2 I got it then but it is not available now. It works on desktop but not on mobile apps. I haven't seen it anywhere else. I hope Logos gets licensing for it so we can use it on mobile apps

  • Re: Q: Indonesian Bible

Yes, Logos can you please add Indonesian Bibles. I am an Australian serving in Indonesia and this would be fantastic to be able to have the Indonesian Bibles on the mobile apps for reading plans etc. Please, please, please add it. Jason

  • Suggestion: newest highlights at top - can you add “Ascending” and “Descending” option for highlights

It’s great being able to highlight and then view the highlight list on the ipad. Could you please add the ability to view the newest highlights at the top, instead of oldest at the top. E.g. Edit/Sort/Date Added - Newest at top. Usage scenario: 1. I use reading plans, read, and highlight certain phrases/verses, 2. then I go back to the highlight document

  • Feature request: choose between advanced and simplified highlighting.

Its great having highlights synced to the computer. At the moment, in highlighting, 1. you select text, 2. then select highlight, 3. then select colour of highlighting, (4. I don’t have my touch with me, not sure if there is another step here). Let’s call this advanced highlighting where you have the option ot choose colours for highlighting. .....

  • Re: Sharing resources of LOGos 4 with Kindle

I export from Logos, then use Scrivener to convert to Kindle format, then copy it over to the Kindle. Works great. Jason

  • Re: More options for appearance

ability to change the background and text colour would be fantastic. For me, black background with very light grey or yellow would be best. Black background with white text makes the white a bit intense. I use very light grey text and black background in Olive Tree and its much kinder on the eyes.

  • Re: highlight iPhone reading?

yes highlighting would be great. I am enjoying using the kindle app, highlighting key ideas and quotes, then later on my laptop, using the kindle mac app to see the highlights and then journal about them, or copy and organise them for sermon quotes/illustrations. When reading a book on the iphone app, it is tedious to keep going back to another notes

  • "Copy Bible Verses" question - again.

Heres the question again with right formatting. Is it possible to show and copy the verses as a paragraph referenced once, rather than the selected verses referenced after each verse. See in example below - I have Prov 3:3-6 selected. It shows v3 with reference (Pr 3:3-6, NIV) then v4, v,5, then v6 all verses with references. I would like all the text

  • Re: Horizontal Split Windows - until Text Comparison arrives (A12).

Actually I guess it is a bug. Try and move a tab to a different position and it will, instead of move the position of the tab, create a horizontal window below. This bug is actually helpful at the moment - giving horizontal split windows.

  • Horizontal Split Windows - until Text Comparison arrives (A12).

You might know this already but heres a tip. To make split windows; 1. Open two books. 2. Click the book cover icon and select "Float this panel" 3. On the new floating panel, click the book tab (the book title) and drag it back to the docked window. It then splits horizontally. 4. Make sure you have linked the two books (Click the book cover icon and

  • Re: Where did this feature go: topic browser

Yes I would love to see Topic search as per Topic Browser in L3 too. POSSIBLE IMPLEMENTATION: Once the tagging of headings and article titles is completed, for me the best possible implementation would be to add "Topics" into the search tab as per pic below - after Basic or after Bible. 95% of the searching I did in L3 were Bible and Topic Browser searches

  • Re: Parallels, PC XP,,help??? New owner of Logos 4

Hi You can get parallels here, http://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/ Logos 4 does run on XP. I am using logos with XP in a Parallels virtual machine. It runs a little slow but is very usable. I really like Logos 4. I'd say install Logos 4 in Parallels, use it that way, and wait a few months and the Mac version wiil be ready. • Re: What is your most desired missing feature to be included in the next Mac version?

Tabs. I would never use a Broswer without tabs and I need them in Mac Logos too. So for now I use Libronix in Parallels until tabs arrive.
