  • Re: New in Logos 9: Reading Plans Updates

I love the new reading plan update. Finally, I can put something meaningful into the reading plan the way I design it. Thank you. I have created a past reading plan into a note and that worked fine, however, I like the reading plan update and wonder is there a way to import a reading plan into Logos 9? I don't want to retype it all over again, as it

  • Can You Share Sermon Manager?

So my whole staff has Logos 9 now and we want to plan our yearly preaching schedule - who's preaching about what. Can you share the Sermon Manager? It seems to me that you can, because you have a section in it called "Private Notes."

  • Re: Personal Books need to be rebuilt after upgrading to Logos 8

So, I did just switch to a new computer and cannot find where to do the personal books on Logos 8? It's been a long time since I created them, so I cannot remember how, but cannot find it at all. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

  • Re: SDA FORUM

The closest we have in a “team leader” is Hiram Rester. He is in charge of the academic sales - also what Martin Weber did, and was likely the key person to get Andrews Univ. to finally okay logos sales. But logos did not hire Hiram to primote More books into the logos product. Unfortunately it’s likely a small enough market.....

  • Re: Curious

Actually Walter Martin had us in the first version of Kingdom of the Cults. But after much discussion over several years with Adventists he declared we were basic evangelical Christians. His second version put us in the appendix only because he wanted to set the standard straight.

  • Evangelism Intelligence: Why Advntist Churches Grow Differently

Hey Everyone! I have a new resource that if you are interested in, you can pick up at Amazon and as soon as AdventSource gets their copies, you can order there. However, if you have a desire to have copies for your church boards, etc. I have a donor who will ship you enough copies for free. I'm going to see if we can get it available in Logos as well

  • Copy and paste issue.

For quite awhile I’ve not been able to keep the reference attached to the text when I copy and paste. The example below describes the procedure. I’ve posted this in the logos community forums, and others are experiencing the same thing, but no one has a fix for it. 1. I block a verse out and choose “copy.” I get this: "The guards shook for fear of him

  • Single or two finger swipes?

I don’t like the single finger swipe to change tabs. I would prefer the double finger. I realize both work in Scrolling view. I realize most use scrolling view. However, every time I make a selection to copy and need to move the slider to enlarge my selection, it tries to swipe back to another tab. I believe it creates a poor user experience.

  • Re: Dropping Reference from Copy and Paste

Well mine used to do it up until a few weeks ago. However the reference was always in the form of a ref.ly url page.... Which wasn't always helpful when sending people to go read something. They can't always ready without an account - depending on the book.....

  • Missing references.

im running the “Logos Bible study and reading” beta version 6.0.0.172. I am experiencing a problem that is just started happening in the non-beta apps also. I described it here: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/153565.aspx Recently, either when I upgraded the iOS or the in the App store, I lost the ability to copy and paste and retain the reference

  • Re: LogosNext V6 Feedback (Closed Beta)

Love the interface, was just trying to use the block a section and copy it. When I made the initial grab to extent the blocked out section, it tried to let me tab back and forth between screens rather than grabbing the blue dot and extending the block. I agree with others, that a two finger scroll through tabs would be a better user interface.

  • Dropping Reference from Copy and Paste

Recently, either when I upgraded the iOS or the in the App store, I lost the ability to copy and paste and retain the reference with the copied material. I emailed FL and they said it might have been due to a dropped connection at times but that they hadn't changed anything.... This was essentially useless. The reference would be the "Https://ref.ly

  • Re: Currently overseeing our products

Logos replaced Martin Weber for the academic sales with Hiram’s Rester. Logos has no immediate plans to replace Martin for the resources development. This effectively means two options: 1) that they are done developing the Adventist resources for the time being, or 2) they are using one of their current personnel to work through those issues with some

  • Re: Off Topic: Happy birthday Martin

Martin is semi-affiliated with Faithlife as a consultant right now. Mainly gettignhis replacement Hiram Rester set up and running. However Hiram's primary responsibility is the education centers in the NAD. I doubt you will see him here much if at all.

  • Re: Citation

I agree. When I send someone a quote, they invariably click on the reference link and then are told they cannot open it because they don't own that book. It would at least be nice if the reference link were more obvious as to what was being cited....
