Up until a month ago, I was running Logos on a HD 10 Plus. I neighbor needed the tablet more I needed it, so I let him have it. So I cannot give any updates for the past month. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08BX6B43K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I did not pay this much for mine! Not even close. Watch out for sales.
I'm just seeing your thread. This is becoming an issue for me too. I take classes with instructors that use different translations and teach from Logos. I have created different layouts to use with each class, but it is awkward to change the priority translation before each class, and even more awkward not to switch. For me, it would be enough to be able to set an override for

The translation is being used for a wider purpose now. There are study Bibles using the NET 2.1 that have notes that are not the translation notes. Love God Greatly https://netbible.com/buy-now/net-love-god-greatly/ The Abide Bible https://netbible.com/buy-now/net-love-god-greatly/ And the Thinline Large Print that has no notes https://netbible.com

My use of Logos is affected by what I use in other software and in hardcopy, and also what the people around me are using: above, beside, and below. Thompson topic numbers and Strong's KJV #s are still being used by people. And like we talked about the KJV, they are not copyrighted. "Better" is almost always expensive and copyrighted, and quickly pulled

Danny Zacharias has a good training course here , on Udemy.com.
I was wondering if anyone had used that course. It's pretty good?
I will only answer that here if someone with authority gives us permission to discuss Logos training from competitors.

I should be okay with the devices that I have for another year or two, but as I look ahead, I am probably going to be using the Web and Android apps as my primary apps to use Logos on the cellular devices that I expect to purchase through my cellular provider . I am really hoping that the Web app is more usable by then. Is there anywhere to vote on
-
Just a reminder of what I was told awhile back: MP is the official Logos training, therefore all other training is produced by "competitors", even if it is training us to use Logos.

When I was much newer to Logos, I had Logos on one computer and Verbum on another so that the training videos were as exact as possible. Now I have no trouble following any training: old or new, Logos or Verbum. I have Verbum on my laptop right now, because the defaults that I needed were more likely to pop up, and I installed that before I purchased

The VIP and WordSearch videos were both helpful. Thank you Rick and Matt!

Verbum full feature is still more that $190.00 for me. Logos full feature is more than $197.00.
-
Do you actually need Verbum installed in order to follow along with the training, or is Logos similar enough to follow along using that, provided of course the training isn't in regard to a feature that's in Verbum but not Logos.
You do not need Verbum installed to follow the training, but some things may not pop

I have them all Verbum Academic https://www.logos.com/product/51653/verbum-advanced-academic-training Verbum Homiletics https://www.logos.com/product/51654/verbum-advanced-homiletics-training

I like hardcopy encyclopedias. They have less typos and better formatting.

Thank you so much!!!

Verbum and Logos software are almost identical. If you "buy" the free Verbum, you will get the additional features that you seen in the Verbum videos, like the Catholic Topical Index. I own the Britannica Great Books Set and the Harvard Classics and the Catholic Topical Index and "cited by" tool work much better than the factbook and things that I was

I see a video discussed in the post, but no link to it. The picture is a start. I can see the A links on some of the top right resources, but no links on the lower right resources. Are the lower resources linked? Can we upload a doc to the Public Docs, if we figure one out?
-
I cannot quite figure how to make best use of all the Thompson's Chain resources. I am using the "Cited By" tool and that helps with some of the resources. Has anyone created a layout with all the resources set up so that they are linked to each other? It would be nice if a guide, layout or workflow or something came with the package of resources. And
