[quote user="David A Egolf"] I recall a time when starting the program with no internet connection would result in an automatic offer to work offline. Requiring someone to "know" that they are to hold down the CTRL key is not a good behavior. ... Logos should be changed back to the old model where they will allow you to automatically work offline.[

  • Re: Perspectives on discipleship type resources.

Hi Hamilton I read your question earlier, but wasn’t able to provide any guidance towards an answer. Perhaps we could help you think about the question? Based on what you asked, you might need to start with, “What is discipleship?” That might take you to lexicons on mathētēs . You could use Logos’ Bible Word Study on μαθητής

[quote user="David Paul"]Granted, this is more of a theological assertion than a scholarly assertion (though surely these two can overlap?), but even among many with a theological proclivity, it has become passé...or even a sign of provincial naiveté...to insist that hassaataan is to be found in Genesis. Good commentaries wrestle with the ethics of God's request, not so much solving the issue as giving understanding. For example Victor Hamilton (NICOT)

  • Configuring the Cited By tool to stay with a text

Is there a way to tell the Cited By tool to stick with the text I typed in its search box, not to automatically keep changing? Say I'm looking for where Psalm 68:18 is quoted. I click on a link to (say) Odes 10.3. As soon as that becomes the active window, the Cited By loads quotations of Odes 10.3. This is time-consuming: I wait for it to load, and

To add to Kevin's broader answer, if you question is just about installing Logos, you can do a custom install and specify the drive/folder where you want it installed. I've done that (installed to D:\Logos), and it works well.
