All the standard ranges are lost when I create a Custom Range (for a Bible Search) on my Windows 7 (64-bit) laptop. Following the same steps on my Windows XP desktop works flawlessly. Steps to create the problem: 1. Choose Bible Search from the Search menu. 2. In the Bible Search dialog, click the Custom button. The Custom Ranges dialog opens, with

Reformed = someone who follows Reformation teaching, particularly Calvin (the key theologian of the Reformation) with his emphasis on God's sovereignty. Evangelical = someone who emphasises the (entire) Bible as the Word of God and (only) authority for Christian doctrine and practice, in contrast to liberal theologicans (so after the time of the Enlightenment
... I cannot find page numbers in any of the resources. Does Libronix not provide page numbers anywhere???
Phillip, just to clarify, if the resource is indexed by page, you can choose that index by clicking this button:

FWIW, bestcommentaries.com gives Moo's The Epistle to the Romans NICNT (Eerdmans, 1996) one of the highest scores of any commentary: http://www.bestcommentaries.com/best.aspx

Hi George. You know much more about Logos than I do, but some of the resource that are in the Scholars and not in the Original Languages are very useful to me. The 10-vol Kittel (TDNT) alone was enough to sway me to buy it. The New Bible Commentary (ed Carson, IVP, 1994) is my favorite single-volume commentary ATM. Dictionaries, word studies, ... lots

Hi Douglas This is actually a technical forum, discussing Logos Bible Software, so we really can't get into trying to help you decide between different interpretations of Scripture, and we can't email you directly. If you do have the Logos software, I would encourage you to see what commentaries you have, and to examine several of them so you understand

You can turn this off if you don't want it. Go to: Tools | Options | General | Interface and uncheck: Double-click executes keylink Or you can redefine which keylinks are executed under: Tools | Options | Keylink Choose the Data Type (drop-down at the top), and set the order of resources and actions.

Hi Christian. I hope this reply is not too off-topic, or promote too many diverse views. But you asked a searching question about how this revealed God's glory, so here's something you may like to consider. When the Word became flesh, God was tabernacled among us (1:14.) The tabernacle (and later the temple) was the place where God’s glory resided,

Are you aware of the Commentary on the NT use of the OT , edited by Beale and Carson (Baker, 2007)? It goes the through entire NT, examining the 400-odd quotations from the OT, plus myriads of allusions. It may not be what you are looking for, but it's a great resource, just released, and currently on special: http://blog.logos.com/archives/2009/08

Have a look for yourself at what's in the Scholar's Lib, Ed: http://www.logos.com/comparison What I did was to download the PDF comparison, and examine the resources in each pack. Since I wanted the Heb/Gk resources, I studied the comparisons, analyzing exactly what I really needed, and ended up buying the Scholar's Library. (The 10-volume Kittel TDNT

Interesting question. If you open a Bible, select some text, and choose Fie | Print, the Page Range (in the Print dialog) Selection is unavailable. What it seems to do is to print the current chapter. Hopefully you've found the Copy Verses button in the System Tray (bottom right of screen.) You can then paste into Word, and print it formatted the way

Beautiful. Thanks, Jack. I had not yet installed the Power Tools Add-in. Doing so as we speak. Appreciated.

How do I tell the Logos software to look for my user data in a different folder? Instead of C:\Users\Me\Documents\Libronix DLS , I want to put them into another folder that is not defined as the user document folder in Windows -- say C:\Data . I did have it set up like that before formatting my hard disk and installing Win7 (64-bit), but can't recall

Interesting question. Quick summary from New Bible Commentary : The reference of the words from the creation of the world is uncertain; they can be linked with the slaying of the Lamb (as in the av , rv and niv ) or with the writing of names in the book of life (as in the jb , nasb and nrsv ). Both meanings are equally true; for the former cf. 1 Pet

Yep: got that message too. This thing must the the Logos' attempt to stimulate the economy. :-) Can't resist: Moo, Carson, Fee, Mounce, Bruce, Longman, ... too many good things to miss out. I've given in to temptation also.

Matthew, thanks for the link. Would love to see these in Logos as well. Perhaps someone will turn them into PBBs. I have several of those books on my shelves from my Ozark Bible College days, and am downloading others from your link. Will never forget Seth Wilson's Life of Christ classes. Kudos to College Press for their big vision in making available
