This is what I ended up using, a total of 41 hits with several important parallels: If I could improve anything, it would be filtering out the verbs of speaking (which still dominate my hits). Is there a way to have multiple lemmas listed under the Lemma does not equal value in word 1? I've tried entering a list separated by commas and spaces, and neither

  • Crash on macOS 10.13 b6 and Proclaim 2.4

I've duplicated our file from last week (the 20th) and am simply trying to insert new announcement into the Pre and Post service loops. Proclaim freezes and I have to force close the app every time. I guess I'll start with a blank presentation and see if I can rebuild. Here are the logs: 6825.Archive.zip

That gets me what I was looking for, thank you. One point of clarification: why can't i specify the second verb associated with clause3? It would be helpful to have both verbs highlighted in the search (rather than the clauses), but any attempt to add a verb under clause3 (I've tried Matching Skip Levels both on and off) reduces the matches to zero

  • Search Help

I need to shape a search related to a clause in John 20:21: ἀπέσταλκέν με ὁ πατήρ, κἀγὼ ⸀ πέμπω ὑμᾶς. Jesus is first the object of the verb, then Jesus becomes the subject of the verb. I'm interested in finding other places where Jesus is first the object then the subject of the same verbal idea. It would be easy to look for 3rd person verbs then first

Not only does it work, but the multitasking split screen and floating window has been solid on my iPad Pro. Very nice.

  • Video problems with 7.9b3 and macOS High Sierra

I'm having problems with the tabs in windows in the latest beta. I admit I'm running a beta OS (High Sierra), but there seems to be work to be done dressing up L7 for the OS upgrade. Strange highlighting, titles missing and sometimes the tabs are blank. Here is a screen shot:

  • Re: So Slow???

Ken, Do post logs, they can be extremely helpful. I muse every so often about Logos being laggy and slow to start up. The last time I did that (and posted logs), someone noted that my copy of Logos was having problems with several visual filters I had picked up along the way. Deleting those filters didn't impact my workflow at all, and did improve the

The issue is never how quickly did the window display, the issue is how quickly could I actually DO something in the window. Lots of beach ball action after the window displays. I've cleaned out my visual filters, and its still laggy and prone to crash.

  • Workflow Question

We're now moving to more team involvment with out Sunday Proclaim work. I need to make sure musicians have looked over the songs, and I'd like to give people like liturgusts the ability to see how we've put the liturgy on screen. When working in a group, do people normally encourage the group to look at the Proclaim files in the Faithlife group, or

Graham, Here is a screen shot of my current NT layout, I have something similar for the Old Testament. I have made a few changes: all the bibles (Greek and English) are linked together in Set A. The lexicons and dictionaries are grouped together in Set B. It is still laggy and really crash prone. I've never read my crash logs, could you point me to

Graham, For reasons I don't understand, I can't get a dropbox URL to insert itself right now. Yes, its a complex layout....Five windows total. The first holds six English bibles stacked in tabs. They are all linked together in Set A. There is a windows with five Greek texts, tied into Set A. Another window that contains lexicons and dictionaries, all

  • Depressingly Laggy

I understand there was a significant speed boost for the Windows users in 7.9 b1, but this release was a significant step backwards for macOS (10.12.6). Its laggy, takes forever to boot up, and freezes when I try to change layouts. We could use a few gifts on our side of the tree o mighty FL. Logs are attached. 3010.Archive.1.zip

I'm on the first public beta on an iPad Pro 9.7 inch. Proclaim does indeed crash when launched, which I expected. My initial plan was to revert to my archived backkup after playing for a day or so, but iOS 11 on an iPad is a real significant game changer. I'm now scrambling to find an older iPad upon which I can run iOS 10 and Proclaim until they release

  • Re: Tagging Decisions

Thanks Dave.....more fuel on the fire. I love the meta-tagging being done by FL, but right now there are too many inconsistencies. I should have worked back from a lemma search into the tagging rather than trying to work from the meta-tags out. Fewer meta-tag schemes and an emphasis on accuracy and consistency would go a long way it seems to me.

  • Tagging Decisions

Occasionally I'm not sure what's driving decisions made about tagging. For example. I've been working through the Old Testament passages about the Holy Spirit. The dominant tag is , or at least so I thought until I discovered that Spirit of the LORD is always tagged . I could live with that, but Spirit of God is usually tagged with the exception of
