Hi Nathan, Sorry to hear your experiencing this. Are you also using a Windows Computer? Proclaim uses the local media player on the computer to play videos (Windows is Windows Media Player, Mac is Quicktime). In the case referenced by David the video was played by Windows Media player and the orientation it was filmed in is making the video look flipped

HI Rolf, Here is an article that shows you how you can do what your asking with Proclaim. This is called lower thirds and essentially uses green screen technology. You will need to use either a software or hardware video switcher or encoder that support keying to get the text to overlay on top of your video. Can I Show Live Video While I Present? Blessings
