  • BAGD missing

I have BAGD in my account, but it's not coming up on my android. It should be under Arndt. I've searched for "lexicon," "BAGD," "Baur," "Arndt," and scrolled down looking for it, but it's not there. Does anyone know what may be causing this? I'm talking about: Arndt, William, F. Wilbur Gingrich, Frederick W. Danker, and Walter Bauer. A Greek-English

  • Re: Book Titles in Hebrew/Greek

Thank you George, that's similar to the system that I currently use with Windows languages. It would still be nice to be able enter the book names in Hebrew when using the Hebrew Bible. I tend to think of the Hebrew names first and sometimes type them in Hebrew before realizing Logos doesn't recognize it. Not a big deal, but it would be nice. fgh: I

Hmm...thank you. That is helpful in some ways. But is there a way to list just references? E.g. "Job 3:2, 15; 34:3; Prov 2:18"

  • Book Titles in Hebrew/Greek

When using Logos, my keyboard is almost exclusively set to Hebrew font. I search for Hebrew and Aramaic words frequently in Bibles or in lexicons. However, I constantly have to switch back to English for only one thing: To enter a Bible reference. It would be nice to type in "איוב 2", and have all my linked Bibles turn to Job 2. This isn't a big problem

  • Copy search results

When I search for a Hebrew/Greek word, I get a great list of results. Is there a way to copy the list and paste it in a Word .doc in SBL format? It could save a lot of time instead of having to type out every occurrence. Especially if I can pick and choose which verses to include. I feel like there's a way to do this, but I can't figure out how. Thanks

  • Re: Completion of Gesenius' Hebrew Grammar

Thank you Mark, that's amazing! I always wondered how to do that. Denise, I'm sorry, but I don't understand your post. I can't find any way to look up a verse in Gesenius with a right-click. Lee, thank you for expounding on my post. I agree that regardless of the available tools, the full index is still very useful.

  • Completion of Gesenius' Hebrew Grammar

Logos has a copy of GKC, but it's very difficult to use because almost 100 pages (containing the Scripture Index) are not included on the Logos version. This book is public domain. Would it be difficult to get pages 532-616? The best way to use GKC is searching by verse, but there's no accurate way to do this with Logos. I always have to use a hard

  • Re: Help with word look up

Thank you very much! This is very helpful. Why doesn't the "info" option display an English gloss for every word? I thought it used to do this, but now it's not very often.

  • Help with word look up

I've been searching for a way to tap a Hebrew word and get a quick English gloss, especially offline. I thought the "info" used to offer a gloss in addition to the morph, but now it doesn't seem to be included on many words. Also, this feature is available only online. I'd love to get a quick gloss with a tap or double-tap, instead of having to choose

  • Re: how to do a search

The snipper screen-shot tool wouldn't let me get an image of the drop-down menu, but it only offers two options for כ no mater what I type in, and both say "Hebrew" next to them. I tried a number of times with a final ך, as well. I also tried to right click the preposition and copy it, then start a search dialogue independently and paste it (I got two

  • Re: Ketiv Qere

Ah yes, thank you! I got the pop-up "K" to come in with Westminster and AFAT in Logos 4. I must have missed it earlier somehow.

  • Re: Ketiv Qere

Yes, it is old, and thanks to your advice I finally updated. Your advice has been really helpful to me. But it does display Ketiv/Qere in Libronix 3.0. All I have to do is click on a little "K" and the Ketiv comes right up. Heh, heh, I'm glad I kept the old Libronix around...it looks like I have to go back to last century in order to get this simple

  • Re: how to do a search

I've also had trouble using proximity operators. Today I've been searching for the term כפיך/כפיו.כפיהin Hebrew ("as a mouth"). I typed כ WITHIN 2 WORDS lemma: פה When I typed כ, there was a drop-down menu. It offered two options for HEBREW: כ; but neither of them were followed by a definition. Neither were pointed. The rest of the options were tri

I also have the Westminster BHS 2006, and in Libronix 3.0 it does display Ketiv. Is there any way to get it to do the same in Logos 4? Thanks!

  • Re: Ketiv Qere

Thank you. My BHS does not give me a "display" option, although most of my other resources do. I also tried this with AFAT. LHI does have a display option, but only for interlinears. I'm using the BHS WIVU that comes with the Original Languages Library (2006). How can I get it to display the Ketiv?

  • Ketiv Qere

How do you display the Qere in BHS/WTS in Logos 4? I can only see the ketiv with reconstructed vowels.

  • Error in Enhanced BDB

This looks like a typo in the Enhanced BDB. It says גר after גרן, but the word should be גרע (see print edition p. 175). Is this just a glitch, or does everyone have this typo?

Great! This is helpful. I hope the next generation of Logos allows you to make frequency lists of books or passages according to root.
