  • Searches - Strong's Number Translated as a Specified Word or Words

In Logos, is it possible to search for a Strong's number translated as a specified word or words? Example: In BibleWorks (I am a former user), searching: .month@03391 Finds all occurrences of the English word "month" tagged with Strong's 03391 (in BibleWorks, the leading 0 indicates Hebrew; so, it is the equivalent of H3391 in this case). Thanks, Chuck

Thanks to you both for your feedback. Yes, Levi, I actually already discovered what you described as I continued to experiment after posting my message. Thanks again!

  • Inline Search - Display Bible Text in Same Panel Instead of Opening New Panel

There are times when I would like to do a quick Inline Search of the Bible, then click on a verse reference in the search results and display the resulting text of the Bible in the existing panel instead of opening a new panel. Is this possible?

  • Re: Highlight - Repeat

Thanks. I assigned "Y" to the Yellow Highlighter Pen in the Highlighting tool, and this works when highlighting, for example, Biblical text. However, I do not see an option for creating a Shortcut key for Background color within Notes. By the way, I also noticed that Ctrl+K (or H) applies the last-used highlighter to the Biblical text. But again, these

  • Highlight - Repeat

Within Notes, is there a way to repeat a highlight. In other words, if I just highlighted a phrase using the yellow background color, can I highlight another phrase and use a speed key to repeat the highlighting process instead of move the mouse up to the background color icon and again manually select the color?

[quote user="Lonnie Spencer"]And if I tag each resource by the name of the folder, then I am able to search the folder also. For example, I have a folder called "My Worldview" which contains all my favorite resources on worldviews. If I tag each resource in my folder with "My Worldview" then I am able to search in all of the books in the My Worldview

Thanks so much for the help, guys! Thus far, I now have my tools quickly available and organized into the following Favorites folders: Commentaries, Cross-Refs, Dictionaries, and Illustrations, and I keep the Favorites panel open. I expect this method will be of immense help in eliminating distractions in my study and writing due to not having to mouse

  • Library Favorites Possible

Other than crowding the Shortcuts Toolbar with little icons, which I often need to mouse-hover to remind myself of what each represents, is there something like a Libray Favorites list where I can keep track of and easily access my often-used resources?

  • Re: Highlights and Note Indicators Not Displaying

It is, at least, nice to know there is a logical explanation behind the problem, thank you. It seems to me that some notification in the app would be in order when rolling out resource updates. I was counting on my iPhone, as usual, this past weekend for possible highlights and notes regarding texts covered. As it turns out, I missed accessing some

In any case, I appreciate the help. If switching to the Library cleared the log jam, I may never have done it if it weren't for our conversation. Thank you.

So, this morning, I opened the mobile app, and it is on my usual NKJV panel, which is also the resource containing most of my highlights, and still no display of highlights. I then tapped the Library icon to confirm that I had already downloaded the NKJV resource, which I indeed had. I then switched back to the NKJV panel, and there the highlights were

Suddenly, my highlights and note indicators no longer display on my iPhone. To me, this is a very stressful situation. It is important to have confidence that my notes and highlights are preserved, will not disappear, and will be available consistently on all my devices. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
