  • Re: Suggestion: Legacy Standard Bible

A very good question. Are there any copyright issues or anything that would preclude Logos from incorporating the LSB? You can read it online and download from Accordance (Oak Tree Software) so why is Faithlife (Logos) hesitant about getting it into Logos? This is a rock-solid translation and one I will certainly be using in the future.

Well, I sent in a request to Logos Support. I then received this reply: Dear Don, Thank you for sending your logs. We are busy working on solving this issue. The fix will automatically become available in a forthcoming update. I apologize for the inconvenience in the meantime. Sincerely, Joe McCune Now, it is wait and see. Based on his response, it

Well, it looks like using the "report a problem" may produce some results. So, I am taking your advice JT and sending a message to the programmers. I sincerely hope they have a fix for this, but looking over the forum posts, it appears that I am far from alone when it comes to reading plans and devotionals. Sounds like it is a flaw in the program when

That has crossed my mind, but while the computer version stores all of my modifications in the cloud, I am not certain the mobile app will do this as well. I think if I decide to so something along these lines, I will delete the cache first and then go for broke. Personally, I would still like to hear from the programmers as I have seen many changes

Did you mean to add something to this suggestion? I do not want to be condescending, but what you are saying does not apply to my problem with (the Android version of) the Mobile app. I can access it from the home page if I set it up as a reading plan only. I am trying to set it up as a devotional since it is a daily devotional resource and would fit

  • Re: Devotion choices in the mobile app

It appears to be a flaw in the program. There is a heading of "Start a Devotional" (which previously had a list underneath) and now is only halfway showing (the title, not the list). Sort of like it is stuck and can't scroll down. My guess: It is a programming flaw which may have been exacerbated by a particular Android version. So, next question: Is

Thank you JT, I guess I should have added the fact that I have been using Logos since 2004 (Series X) and know how the program works quite well. In this case, the mobile app does not allow me to choose a devotional other than those listed in the "Choose Devotional" menu. There is a set of titles under the heading "Devotionals" which appear to be default

  • Devotion choices in the mobile app

I have an Android phone, Logos 9 (via Faithlife Connect subscription) and a desire to read The Songs of Jesus : A Year of Daily Devotions in the Psalms as a devotional. I see on the app the choices of Devotionals and Start A Devotional. For some reason, I can't scroll Start A Devotional as I used to be able. And, the devotional I want to use isn't in

Thank you again. Yes, I learned about hiding resources from John Falahee a while back, but haven't had the need to do so...until now. Although, like you, I tend to keep them available for reference. Don

KS4J, Thank you so much. It certainly didn't dawn on me that there were two identical resources (even though I have seen it in the library and figured it was just reading the BHS as two different types). All I did was remove the old icon from the toolbar and replace it with the new and it works perfectly now. And to think I have been dealing with this

I should also include that this is the BHS (SESB 2.0) it happens in. Other OT Bibles such as the Lexham Interlinear, both the conjunction and the word appear. But, then again, with an interlinear the words are already there.

  • Re: Mousing over words in Hebrew Bibles only shows the conjunction.

I have attempted to paste an image in my reply multiple times without success. Basically, when I mouse over a word such as in your example, all that is displayed is the Hebrew letter and the word "conjunction". The balance is not displayed. On words which are not preceded by conjunctions, the information comes through fine. Don

  • Mousing over words in Hebrew Bibles only shows the conjunction.

When I mouse over a word that begins with and, if, but or other conjunction, the annotation only shows the conjunction, not the word it is attached to. Is there a way to change this so that the word itself is defined? It used to work this way, but I must have done something (or something may have changed in the program) but no longer. Any suggestions

  • Re: Home Page

In Logos 7, I had set what would come up on the home page to items I utilized most. Now, I am seeing things from Proclaim Blog and other items I don't normally use. Is there a way to decide what will and won't come up on the home page in the "Explore" section?

Yes, indeed it is. Thank you for the link. I could not find that on a search, but it is exactly what is going on. I would change to 64 bit, but I have a couple of legacy programs that would not work, so use my laptop for 64bit only programs. Guess I will use it for Logos until they come up with a fix. Thanks again, JT. Don

  • After 7.15 update, home screen won't load.

After installing the most recent update, now when I click on Home, nothing but a white page. No spinning disk or anything. The bar with the search window and settings button appear, but that is it. Did a Google search and was directed to a page that blamed it all on the video drivers. Checked the drivers and they are all up to date and check out perfectly
