Hi, I am using the most recent version of Logos ios v. 9.8.2 and noticed when reading a book, if I copy a section and paste it into my paper, it doesn't give me the citation as does in the desktop version. How do I turn citation references on? Thanks!
-
Wait.. the video I watched must have been a bit earlier version than my current version (9.80). I found the place to add clippings. Thank you, yes, I'll try to remember adding screenshot next time!

Hi, I was trying to utilize clippings and it seems that it isn't available on all resources. I was trying to create a clipping from a resource in factbook, but after highlighting and right-clicking, there is no option for saving it as a clipping. I tried an experiment opening a resource from factbook separately (Lexham Survey of Theology) and it still

Are there any tools for use with MS Word that'll allow me to hover over verses after writing a paper? Much like the hover feature does in Logos? I searched on line and couldn't find anything so I know this may be a long shot. I'm using Logos 9.4 and MS Word for Mac. Thanks!

Voila! I guess that was pretty easy, I had not been adding it that way, but just tried and yes it works the way I'd like it to. Thanks!!!

Hi Graham, the topic guide when opened creates a new layout. I'd like to have that topic guide in my regular working layout. I'm sure there's a way to do it...
-
I'm on logos 9.4, and have 2 layouts that I need to get some of the info on one to the other. Is there an easy way to do this? Thanks!
-
Yes, PERFECT Graham. Just what I was looking for! Thanks!

Hi Mike, I think I was looking for a shortcut in the menu that pops up after right clicking on a verse (in image below). What you suggested is what I've been doing.
-
This isn't necessarily a v. 9 issue, but that's the version I'm currently using. I am working on a paper that involves researching Continuity between OT and NT and I am not sure if there's a method to copying referenced verses from an open resource to the Copy Bible Verses tool, or if it just takes several steps.

Thanks Philana!

As soon as I went to screenshot (mac) the window disappeared... I checked out the link, didn't realize these great ol' shortcuts still worked! Cool!

This works properly. I think the previous video was outdated for Logos 8. Thanks!
-
I just reposted this as BUG report... I tried several of the reading plans. I think this may be an outdated video and the method perhaps is different on Logos 8?
-
When trying to add a reading plan following these instructions, Logos 8 crashes almost every time. https://youtu.be/ulI06IPS6Lw This is a Logos support video. Steps to reproduce Load Logos Open Docs and everything loads. Then after clicking public tab, it seems to stall. In the video, it shows the tab being dragged over to the window with the bible

Ok, so I still have a bit of an issue. If I copy a section with "Styled" it pastes the section in quotation marks, but no footnotes. If I just use control C on my Mac, if pastes the section without quote marks but adds a nicely formatted footnote. Is it possible to have both the quote in quotation marks and the footnote?

I found the setting under preferences.

When I copy a verse, I am getting all the additional references, and just need the main reference. I added below the extras I got when copying this passage. How can I accomplish this? a Acts 11:30 b 2 John 1; 3 John 1 c Luke 24:48; Heb 12:1 d 1 Pet 1:5, 7; 4:13; Rev 1:9 a John 21:16; Acts 20:28 b Philem 14 c 1 Tim 3:8 a Ezek 34:4; Matt 20:25f 1 Lit
