Hi, ya'll! I am a longtime Logos user. Back in the day, I could send my Logos resources to my Kindle for easier reading (I hate reading books on my PC monitor). I still have those. But I want to be able to have a device that will allow me to read books. My Kindle Paperwhite of course will not do that. Long story short...which device would I need to

I would like to suggest that the new 2019 Book of Common Prayer be added to Logos (to go beside the 1928 and 1979 editions). I have been using it and it is a great improvement and I would love to see it in Logos!

Hi, I recently heard Mike Heiser mention that he had tweaked his Logos library so that (for the most part) it only shows scholarly, peer-reviewed resources. For the time of academic and scholarly writing that I do, having my Logos resources set up in that way would be very helpful. Mike did not share how he did it so I am asking the Logos universe if

Is bump a theological code word? ;-)

You can do the same thing with Camcasia

Hi, I have all the workflows that are available. I already have my own workflow when approaching a text so I haven't used the provided ones...yet. But the Heiser workflow piqued my interest. Since I haven't used the workflows, can someone who has used them suggest how best to utilize the Heiser workflow? Is it a stand-alone or does it need to be complemented

Hi, I am wanting to filter a Greek text and identify which nouns are affected by a preposition and which are in the dative case (if possible, dative of place where). Is there a search function available that could automate the process?

Hi, I am wanting to dive into the study of the historical Jesus and would like to create a collection that will pull up only related resources. Any suggestions on how to set up the rule? Thanks!

Hi, When I am running a Bible search, using the verses option my Preferred version, ESV is showing up twice side-by-side. I am not sure why, and I haven't been able to find the way to eliminate one of them. Any suggestions? James

Hi, 2 1/2 years ago while working on my Th.B I wanted to include an appendix in my bachelor's final monograph. Someone told me how to do it, but 2 1/2 years has misplaced that memory. I remember that I had to save the final version of the paper as a txt file and then imported it into Logos (I don't remember where) and Logos created a canonical order

Hi, I am working on finishing up my Master's theological research thesis (UK format). It will end up being 230+ pages. It has LOTS of scripture quotations and scripture references. When I did my bachelor's monograph I used Logos and MS Word and was able to produce the index (that was a couple of years ago). Of course, I am using Logos but I am using

Hi, Ya'll! I just purchased John Walton's course OT301 Origins of Genesis 1-3. I see that there are reading notes associated to the course that are located underf Logos Documents in Faithlife. How do I import them into Logos? Thanks, James

Hi, With all the new tagging and sense tagging, etc., in Logos 7 I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to do a Bible search - Old and/or New (but specifically the New) Testaments on verses on the Kingdom of God. I know I can start off with "Kingdom of God" OR "Kingdom of Heaven" but I know I would still miss many verses. If I just do Kingdom I get

Here is a larger view http://screencast.com/t/zXqacewkP As you can see, I entered Strauss (one of the tags) and it didn't pull up the strauss entries, it still showed the Reimarus tags (there aren't any entries with both). Up until the last version when I entered a tag the content window would filter just the entries with that tag. James

I use Logos' clipping function to cull information for my research papers. I add a clipping, then I tag the clipping I have added. Then when I am ready to pull my clippings to do my writing I sort (Cntrl F) and then enter the tag I am working on and it sorts showing only the clippings with that tag. Until today. Now I open up the search window, enter

I found the download buttons for both the video and audio - but I am not sure where it was downloaded to - I can't find them. Any suggestions there?
