I will combine the individual files for Gen-Ruth into a singlie file like Vol01-Zerr_Gen-Ruth.docx
PBB doesnt always process large files fast - but great work so far - I would keep the separate, and then compiler has option of combining, - either way will make no difference to the outputted PB

yeah odd, my visual filters now aren't working after shutting logos down after yesterdays indexing, suspect its a 8.17 bug
-
Is your machine indexing? sometimes indexing causes weird display anomalies.. which go away after indexing
-
Not true, the engine and owned books are frequently bug-fixed and updated, chances are the newer version has made database changes so will be better in long run, the engine has always been free, just type in "update now" in the command box to only update the engine

Thank you very helpful, will add it to my library asap, and dust off my schoolboy German, LOL
-
thanks Ben, final question have they left it as was or have they neutered the text like Zondervan did with NIV 2011
-
As a non native German speaker with limited vocabulary, is Die Bibel: Lutherübersetzung (2017) the direct replacement for Luther(1984)
-
Jeff, it not all FL fault, they have hands tied, Zondervan will have told them we want $??.?? for each one sold in the licencing agreement, now if Zondervan choose to drop retail price elsewhere fine they can, BUT you cant expect FL to sell it now for less $$ than Zondervan will ask for, and will, as contract legally binding its one of flaws of licencing

Daniel, I understand your pain, being both a Bible Explorer and Wordsearch 4 user, the switch to cross format hit me badly too. There are a large number of us who have used multiple software platforms before, dont be afraid to ask in the "Wordsearch" forum here, "How do I?", as many will assist you
-
when you are in word and you click your macro button and then edit macros, there are a list of SUB commands you would paste the following text in there at bottom of list: Sub PREPROCESS_SET_DOCUMENT_BASE_LANGUAGE() ' SetLang Macro Whole Story Dim strNoteType As String Selection.WholeStory strNoteType = InputBox("Set Language to -" _ & vbCr & "US - EN
-
you need to attach it to the bible text rather than the reference
-
May prove useful for those of you wishing your PBB marked up in multiple languages 6472.Logos_Langauge.zip
-
thanks Bradley
-
did you do a partial install? if so, could be that only books downloaded will be indexed...
-
I don't want this to sound like a complaint, as its more of a puzzlement.. I get you are pushing the technology side of the company, but, the "we use technology" seems a bit redundant to me.. you wouldn't use Logos or Proclaim, or the new giving/tithing software if you didn't know the technology existed.. would you? if it ever comes up for review, could
-
Sounds like you need to add a webform to your website, with your relevant question/rating boxes which when submitted emails result to a specific email address, am not sure there is anything in Logos that can help you with that right now.
-
Many :P mostly not relevant to logos
Changing the fonts for standard text and headings to Times New Roman, I could reduce the build errors to four fonts. However, it's difficult to wash out fonts from a document - Word doesn't find those and thus can't replace them - but anyway, as you know, those errors are a nuisance more than a functionality issue.
this
