Seeing the same behaviour. Would like a solution as well :D

Except Bootcamp won't work on the ARM Macs. All BootCamp does is allow you to install Windows on the same harddrive as Mac and dual boot. Windows is still running on the bare Intel processor. While there is a Windows written for ARM the uptake of it is very low, because Windows doesn't have a Rosetta equivalent so if the Windows app is not written for

I guess it all depends on what you have and when you decide to upgrade :D I am running a 2014 Macbook Pro and Logos still runs great. I also have a Lenovo 12 inch machine with an i7 processor specifically for portability and it runs Logos very well. It's kind of the reason I would love to have desktop Logos running on an iPad. I love the portability

  • Re: Apple Silicon

Keep in mind that the processor in question is an iPad processor. I have one in my iPad Pro. It is likely the processor in a Macbook Pro would be much better even if based on the same tech as the A12Z processor. The Mac Mini they are currently "selling" to devs is a little underpowered. It is likely Apple created a quick and dirty system that can get

  • Re: Apple Silicon

It is very unlikely that Logos Bible Software will be running natively on Apple Silicon any time soon. And I speak here as an iOS developer who has been in the industry for 20 years. I am not a Logos developer (although I would love to be) so my answer here cannot be taken as definitive. Also, I am not Bob :D However, unless things have changed, Logos

  • Auto download of books not working...

I am struggling to get my books to download automatically and the old method "update now" does not work. The only way to do it is to scroll slowly through my library looking for the download icon (at 8000+ resources it takes VERY long) or download books one at a time as I search! Not the best experience! I wish there was a way to completely switch off

Thanks, Denise. That is quite a vivid visual representation of the problem :D Brill resources tend to be expensive but in many cases the value is justified! I guess it looks like the tribe has spoken.

  • Getting over the Prepub line: Etymological Dictionary of Greek

Any thoughts on how one could do that? This looks like a very useful resource but it is just sitting there at half full :D

I tried rebuilding the Bible Index but that didn't seem to work. I can try your suggestion. Will post my results here, tomorrow :D Thanks for the help!

  • Re: Morph Visual Filters in Reverse Interlinears not working.

Unfortunately that did not help. The resource info looks correct. I can do a lemma search and it seems to return the correct results. Also Update Resources ran and didn't update anything. Said I have all the resources. Tried the LEB as well. Will not see the morph visual filter. It is most frustrating. I really don't want to be forced to redownload

  • Re: Morph Visual Filters in Reverse Interlinears not working.

I'll have to check when I get home. Its on the other laptop I will check and let you know! The odd thing is I copied the resources directly from my Mac installation so one would assume if there was corruption it would exist in both environments. I didn't want to download 13gigs + of resources. My net connection while fast has a cap!

  • Re: Morph Visual Filters in Reverse Interlinears not working.

As you can see this is for Greek. The strange thing is it works on Mac (where my Logos has lived since the first Libronix for Mac was released) and I have upgraded in place. I created the visual filter a long time ago. I just tested and new filters work as well. On Mac. On the clean install on Windows, no visual filters show for ESV or the other reverse

  • Morph Visual Filters in Reverse Interlinears not working.

It seems since Logos 6 my favourite visual filter no longer works on reverse interlinears like the ESV. I created a visual filter many years ago that highlights all the verb moods in the ESV using a morph filter. For some reason it kept working in Logos 6 (after I upgraded) but I could not create any new ones that worked. Now I have Logos 6 installed

  • Thanks Logos Forum re: Yosemite and Logos 6

Just a quick note to give a big thank you to everyone on the forums who has been so helpful with my (and others) Yosemite Logos issues. While the going has been frustrating it is really awesome to have so many dedicated Logos users who are willing to help and give advice and so on. You guys are the best! And yes I finally have a working Logos 6 installation

  • Re: Logos Mac Yosemite Networking bug is Probably in Mono

Hmmm. Well I was trying to diagnose the problem. If my ideas are faulty, so be it :D Unfortunately I never encountered the problem on Mavericks (I have been running Yosemite since June) so thats a piece of information I didn't have available. Africa is a big place :D I'm in South Africa. And yes our internet is not the best. Which is why I wish for

  • Logos Mac Yosemite Networking bug is Probably in Mono

I put this in General because it seems to affect Logos 5 AND 6 on Yosemite. For some reason on both Logos 5 and 6 downloads inside the app do not complete. The LogosIndexer randomly stops downloading. Only seems to apply to large downloads. And only on Yosemite. I suspect that the bug is in the Mono Networking framework. Or at least in how it interacts

The good news is, Thanks to the uninstall logos entry on the wiki and Time Machine on my Mac I have successfully reverted to Logos 5. Now I just need to have a chat with the sales guys about a refund!

Thanks for the link. Tried all that. No go. Looks like I'll need Time Machine to get a working Logos again.
