• Re: PBB and Devotionals

Thanks for your help! You are right I am using the full release. Plus, I had the type set to something other than "Calendar Devotional:". Your instructions cleared up the problem on my laptop running Windows 7. On my desktop running Windows xp however using the same formula I get different results. • PBB and Devotionals

I am using Logos Bible Software 4.3 (4.30.0.1516) and created a pbb from my favorite devotional. Someone kindly referred me to the following link: http://wiki.logos.com/Devotionals_in_the_Home_page#Selecting_Devotionals ! The only problem is that the instructions do not work with the beta. My desire is to put the pbb devotional on my home page. Any

Is there a way to add a pbb creation to my homepage? I have put one of my favorite devotionals into the format and would love to have it available on my homepage along with two others from logos. I can find no instructions for this addition. Thanks, PCMcF

  • Searching for LORD in NKJV

I copied a phrase from the NKJV and pasted into a search tab.The phrase had word "LORD" (in small caps) in it. Logos pasted the phrase, "the word of the LORD came" from 1 Kgs 18:1 into the search box. [“ And it came to pass after many days that the word of the Lord (small caps here) came to Elijah, in the third year, saying, “Go, present yourself to

  • Problem with Vine's and the BWS

I do a BWS on forgiveness and it does not display the vine's references properly. The word "forgiveness" changes to "forgive" (which may or may not be a problem) But then it shows references in Vine's to "Alone (Let Alone)". The other english dictionaries are correct. Is this just me or is it the program? I am running 4.0b beta 12 Pastor Chris McFarland
How about those who'd really like to go but cannot? Who's in that situation?
I would love to go but finances will not allow it at the present time. There will be a seminar nearby here in Tampa in March. Praying for a miracle! Pastor Chris McFarland

JD - I understand where you are coming from, but in my case I have always used MicroSoft Word for organizing info and printing so I don't have the exact same limitations. Good Luck err God bless you as you minister the precious promises of God to others! In Him, Pastor Chris McFarland

  • Re: How did you find out about Logos?
So how did everyone get introduced to Logos? What do you think could be done to get it into the hands of more people? Are you a pastor, teacher, or everyday person who uses Logos to study the Bible better?
I was introduced to the software by a user (Dwayne Davis, I believe), who sold me a Logos commentary on ebay

To the Entire Logos 4 Team, Thank you for the great job on the new version of Logos bible software. I cannot express in words how deeply your work has impacted my ministry and my life. To say that you have helped me help others would be an understatement, but it is certainly true. 1 Sam 23:16 speaks of how Jonathan "strengthened David's hand in God

  • Re: I feel a little misled

Wow, I think there is a need to step back a bit and get a full perspective on L4. It will enable more people to get deeper into the word of God and the literature that supports the adventure of exploring the word than L3. The basic approach was a redesign to enable an easier entry into the resources available without having to be a techno savvy person

Dave, Thanks for the response. Maybe I should have been more detailed in my explanation. I was reviewing the video on using the Esv reverse interlinear NT ( http://www.logos.com/media/flash/esvrevint/ESVReverseInterlinear.html ) to strengthen my ability to get into the original language. It ocurred to me that in the video the bible speed search could

  • Bible Speed Search vs Bible Search

I have been trying to figure out what the Bible Search can do that the speed search cannot. I find the speed search will work for me in many searches. The other tool links are the same and seem to depend on the bible being searched. The only difference I see is the custom button that allows for the range to be controlled in the bible search. So where
