Factbook generated the following search string: , {Section }, {Milestone }, {Headword The Bible’s Inspiration}, "The Bible’s Inspiration" I'm curious to find out what LSTO stands for. I searched for it in Wiki, but only received a search string with that abbreviation in it.

It appears that the conversion of WordSearch resources into compatible Logos resources has been completed based on the conversion status information in this link: https://www.logos.com/wordsearch/catalog?utm_source=constantcontactmailing&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=promo-ws-2020&utm_content=top5things All my WordSearch resources transition/conversion

Thanks Seems pretty clear, now. Will see how well I do next time.

Understand. And that's why a search like: ([field heading, largetext] baptism) NEAR would only produce results with "baptism" & "Acts 2:38" in the largetext of a resource or heading if there was any. For me, this is a result of too many years just doing Bible searches in other Bible software and not really knowing what or where the criteria is being

KS4J, Thanks My learning experience thru this search effort is understanding that the proximity operators work within the selected field and can't see outside of it. Your long hand examples really illuminate that constraint, once Dave brought that concept to light I can really see it now (no pun intended)

Graham, That worked. My min was saying that I needed both those 2 terms as AND in the surface text. But nope, the verse coupled with the heading fields worked just fine. I'm thinking is this becomes one of my search templates for finding heading along with other contents within an article. Dave, Thanks for the clarity on where proximity operators actual

If I break down the search criteria in chunks, I get... ([field heading, largetext, surface] baptism) yields > 6,000 results, makes sense because this finds every location baptism is used in the collection ([field heading, largetext, surface] baptism) WITHIN {Milestone } yields 0 results But my test resource does have heading/largetext results for baptism

Dave, "The problem here is that Acts 2:38 > also has to be part of the heading/large text." That must be the answer for the lack of results when adding the verse to the search criteria. But I thought proximity operators would take care of surrounding text to either the heading or largetext. But apparently not.

I'm trying to search a Collection I've made of Theology Resources. Trying to find information within that Collection that would show up either in an article title or subtitle and then see if a specific verse(s) is referenced within those articles. I can query the Theology Collection Resources with the following and get significant results: Search All

I have placed 2 resources in Pre-Pub folder for purchase, they both are by Mark Hitchcock and are titled: 101 Answers to the Most Asked Questions About the End Times The Second Coming of Babylon: What Bible Prophecy Says About... When I placed them in Pre-Pub (back in May) they were tagged as being in production. I initially thought they were publications

Was wondering what is the status & updated target date for Swindoll's Living Insights New Testament Commentaries conversion to Logos Research edition? I show 12 of the 15 books as ebooks. Please advise

Recently edited some custom Highlights to include Labeling. Anything I add the new Highlight/Label to works fine. Any new Highlight/Label shows in the custom menu and the Label information is seen when hovering over the highlighted/labeled verse/selection. But anything highlighted pre-edit does not behave the same way. Highlighting edits change all

Thanks Dave, Regarding the graphic insertion. I did choose the paper clip and selected the file from my computer. Once that was done, the max width is set at 550 and the max height is set at 0, I change max height to 550. And click insert. Is there something else I should be doing? Regrading notes/highlights, as you point out it is a matter of trying

Sorry for the confusion. I transitioned from Wordsearch 9/20, been learning all about Logos and integrating that learning into studying. Learned about Notebooks, Notes, Highlights. The differences and at least some of the nuances of each including creating and using different pallets and styles. So I'm reading thru Daniel and I come across some text

Is there a way to identify what the sourcing (Palette/Style/Name) is for highlighted text? For notes it is easy, rest the cursor over the note icon and the note is displayed. Click the icon and you jump to the note. Is there anything similar for highlights? I've tried all the above. I've created a few palettes, some place an icon next to or in the text

Is the only way to view how a resource has been indexed in the Information Panel for that resource? I'd like to either be able to filter or run a report on a specific index(indexes) to assist in adding mytags to resources and resource prioritization. Is there anyway to see them other than by one resource at a time? I have looked at the heading options

I recently acquired a Samsung Galaxy Tab A with 32GB internal storage and 32GB inserted SD card. I've looked at other older forum postings and get mixed information as to whether I can store downloaded resources on the SD card. The postings were much older and on younger Android OS & Logos versions. I cannot see a way with the Logos app installed on

Thanks. I've noticed some are self-defining when you make the selection, others not so much so. I'll be patient for the requested list, in the mean time I'll start logging them :)
