Thanks for posting those screen shots. Graham's screen shot was what I was getting before (I knew I hadn't been imagining things!) Room4more's screen shot is what I'm seeing now. I'm not sure what has changed. Could it be a bug that's been fixed in later versions?
-
Thanks for confirming that, Graham. It's interesting that it works for you. It used to work for me, but for some reason it doesn't anymore. I'm running version 4.5a (4.51.0.2048) on Windows. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem?

The two "A" symbols work in the Text Comparison box, but they don't appear to affect what I see when I press the F7 key.
-
In the Text Comparison tool, it is possible to compare differences between one Bible version (the base text) and other versions by switching on the "Show differences" and "Show base text" options. I'm sure that in the past I've been able to see differences between versions when I select a verse and press the F7 key. However, I've somehow managed to

Many thanks for this tip, Jerry. I'd often wondered why it took so long for links to the Apocrypha to display when other links appear almost immediately.

Thanks, Doug, for putting me onto Memverse. It looks like a really good site. I agree that it would be great to have something similar in Logos and have placed three votes for the Bible verse memorization proposal in UserVoice. I was wondering if anyone has an favorite programs/websites/applications that they use for Bible memorization. I've used a

I'm enjoying the debate about the various philosphosies and biases behind different translations. It's a good reminder that no translation will ever be perfect and in the end there's no substitute for studying the Bible in its original languages. However, it is a real blessing to have an overabundance of translation available to us in English, especially

The reminder email that I received for this workshop contains an additional incentive for watching the workshop. It states "Keep an eye out for special coupon codes and discounts, exclusively for attendees (physical or virtual) of the workshop!".

Thanks everyone for all the advice. That's been really helpful.

I have an incurable propensity to categorize things. I have started creating layouts for every book in the Bible where on the left-hand side I have commentaries in the order that they are ranked on the Best Commentary website. On the right-hand side I have my favourite Bible translations. I'd like to list them in order starting with the most literal

Thanks for making all the three Thomas Watson's PBs available, Philip. I always appreciate Puritan books.
-
Thanks for that -- it looks interesting. I've signed up. It's a couple of hours early on Friday morning over here!

I think Logos is working on it, but they are unlikely to have a system in place in time for the BECNT upgrade. I got in contact with sales and they said they would let me purchase the upgrade using Logos credit at a slightly higher price than the Pre-Pub price. I recommend contacting sales to see if they can do something similar for you.
-
Other option is contacting Logos Sales to ask about anticipated regular price so can decide if want to wait to purchase => http://www.logos.com/about/contact
I tried this for the BECNT upgrade, but received a reply saying that were unable to let me know its price after pre-pub (which is about two weeks

You have my sympathies, Raymond. Given your circumstances, have you considered purchasing the collection and then returning them after the licence has been transferred? It might make it difficult to determine whether the licence has actually been transferred, but at least it should give you immediate access to the books. Just a thought...

Yes, please!! This is a great suggestion. There really needs to be a quicker way to add notes to a non-open note file.
-
Speaking for myself, I purchased a few items from the Christmas sales, so it really suits me if not too much from the CP or Pre-Pub lines makes it to Production right now. Another point: You will get a better price from CP if it builds over time and passes the line at some smaller (e.g. $20) point, than if there is too much interest

I've just noticed that it's now possible to post reviews and score resources on the Logos.com website. That's great news!

I'm in the same situation. This has been discussed here and here .
I use K to erase highlight.
Thanks for that tip --- that's really useful to know. It would still be nice to be able to erase highlighting with a single keystroke.
