• Re: 4.0d Beta 1 released soon?

We're not currently planning to migrate to .NET 4 with the 4.0d release.
Browsing the feedback forum, Bob says that WPF4 is needed before migrating to .NET4. I stumbled across this tonight there and found it interesting (no way to tell how old it is): Anyone else looking forward

  • Re: Changing LORD to Yahweh

The only other problem I see here is that you probably will want to limit this to only English Bibles. When I applied it to all Bibles it changes my Hebrew texts.

  • Re: Suggestion: Create a collection from a search result

That is a great idea! Another idea would be to create a collection from a select number of resources from our search results (maybe via some kind of checkbox or pull-down menu). I often find that when I am researching I have to open resouces from my search results, even if I am not interested in looking at that resources right at that particular moment

  • Pausing Greek Audio NT

I just purchased the Greek Audio NT, and I am really enjoying using it to work through my Greek Bible reading. I am wondering if there is a shortcut key to pause the reading. I was trying the ctrl + r, but that will restart the reading at (or near) the top of the page I am working on. Is there a way to quickly pause and un-pause the reading. I would

  • Re: No Hebrew text displaying in any of my copies of BHS

Thanks for the reboot suggestion that took care of it... FYI Logos: This also affected my ability to read WBC Psalms commentaries. It would show partial text only. If I scrolled up and down far enough/long enough I eventually was able to get other portions of the text to display.

  • No Hebrew text displaying in any of my copies of BHS

I just updated from beta 6 to beta 7 and none of my Hebrew BHS Bibles are displaying text. The parsing function still displays the parsing when I move my cursor around the blank screen, but none of the Hebrew text is visible. Is there anything I could try to see if I can get it to appear. I did mess with my program scaling today, but putting it back

  • 4.0a Beta Crash on Startup

Program is crashing whenever I start Logos. It gives me the loading animation, but then crashes after about 10 seconds. 2021.Logos4Crash.txt

  • Prepub Question about Calvin's Commentaries

I preordered the entire Calvin's Commentaries prepub, but realized today that there is an prepub upgrade version of Calvin's Commentaries. I am not sure if I qualify for the upgraded price. I have about 25 of Calvin's Commentaries, but am unsure if I have the set that the upgrade price requires. Does anyone know what set qualifies you for the upgrade

  • Suggestion: Improving the note functionality of Logos.

I have really enjoyed using the new layout of Logos 4. However, I have found one minor feature which seems to be holding back the functionality of Logos for Bible study, namely linked notes (i.e. the kind of linking experience between two Bible versions or commentaries linked in a "link set"). The notes function which is currently available on Logos

I think it is something coming out in an upcoming release if I remember right. You'd have to check the "What's Missing" page. I can't find a link to it at the moment. I am sure someone will post it for us soon.

  • Incorporating a Bible Reading Plan to your Home Page?

I really enjoy the way the new home page displays passages and neat Bible tid-bits. At first I wasn't a big fan of the way it was set up, but it really does help you get to know some otherwise unknown resources in a way 3.0 could not do. That said... Is there any way to get the Home Page to display and lookup unique information about my Bible reading

  • Re: Logos "Pre-nub" Agreement

Actually, I mean that I have purchased a paper copy of a book and only later realized it was already in Logos. There's too much stuff available for Logos! Now if Logos will give me money for paper books that I want to trade for electronic books they just bought themselves a TON of business! Of course I'm sure we'd all do that if given the option!

  • Re: Logos "Pre-nub" Agreement

Thank you, all, for your thoughtful responses. I am certainly not questioning the value of Logos software. I am a big lover of the software! Friends and family, who are not in the ministry, have questioned me regarding the wisdom/value of a software program over paper books. I've expressed some of these ideas to them, but hearing it said by the company

  • Logos "Pre-nub" Agreement

Does Logos have any stated plans for what will happen to our Logos collections if Logos should happen to go out of business or if technology radically changes. What if :-) the kindle, Google books, etc. begins to develop a program which offers reasonable competition with Logos products? Does Logos has a backup plan or "pre-nub" agreement for those who
