+1 Nathan Parker. This is my first upgrade with Logos but I've been through a few with other software and this has been enjoyable. Great release and handled very well by Faithlife. The generosity toward my fellow Wordsearch refugees has been unexpected and refreshing. At first the Logos store gave me serious sticker shock, but I have managed to acquire

My system is getting dated and I "feel" a noticeable difference, but like others have said, no real data to support

Thompson Chain please please and please
I've been using Logos primarily as a reading / researching tool so far. In the process of upgrading to Logos 9, I watched videos of the Sermon Editor/Builder and Sermon Manager. For anyone who has been preaching/teaching for a number of years, we've already gotten into an established pattern / habits of how / where to store our notes

Initial impressions are "WOW". Can't wait to get the time to really dig in with Morris Proctor later

Wonderful feature! I constantly run across books I own that bring a "Wow, I didn't know I owned that" followed by "I should remember to read this when I'm done with X" followed by the magic mind eraser that comers with age.

did you restart the app to apply updates after they finished downloading?

Sermon editor looks like it morphed into 2 tools, Manager and Builder. Love the Sermon Manager startup with the list of sermon Docs in one spot. Also noticed a "draw on screen" option I dont recall being there previously in the main program menu, also noticed the link to forums in the same menu is gone

Thanks for the tips. Thats actually what I was referring to, "I'm glad it wasn't a few weeks later and outside the 30 day window". This is going to be fortunate for my fellow WS refugees who have used their 50% offer recently. So far I'm extremely pleased with FL/Logos, especially the staff and community.

I really hope it's 9 since I just bought my Silver package like last week as a Wordsearch refugee.
At the moment atlas maps can be sent to PowerPoint etc. Would be helpful to have the option to send it to Canvas where it can be further marked up for teaching purposes.
That would be excellent +1
Hi all, I wanted to provide a quick update on the status of updating Wordsearch books to Logos editions. While we planned/hoped to have these updates complete by the end of 2020, it's looking like we probably won't make that date. The process is going to be a bit more complex than anticipated and our production

I am backing up all books and data on a standalone, isolated system without internet or anything, to ensure no updates of any kind can corrupt or render it unusable. Logos will be my main, but I'll have a net free backup in Wordsearch...just in case. You never know anymore as faith is increasingly attacked or software gets sold and bought.

The real #1 is the Community here, but, 1. Notes directly exportable to Sermon Editor 2. Handout functions/ Fill-in functions in Sermon Editor 3. Compact but powerful info Panel 4. Important Passages 5. Fuzzy Bible Search 6. Mobile Ed Interactives (especially the Greek) 7. Customizable Reading Plans for any book Responsive Staff and Morris Proctor could
There is more than one passage that uses the phrase "sons of God", not just the infamous Gen 6:1-4 passage (which definitely is disputed in terms of interpretation). I guess I'm wondering if all passages that contain the phrase are equally ambiguous and thus in dispute? Looking at the passages that come up in a search, I would say

I'm going to guess it has something to do with differing views of this passage. While I want to avoid the specifics, many have claimed the passage in Genesis is referring to the descendants of Cain intermarrying with the descendants of Seth. Like I said, not getting into it, just know it is a theory that is floated in some circles and may well explain

I agree wholeheartedly. It does seem that FL being one of the last survivors in the field of Bible software should certainly address this issue. With the consolidation of Bible software, a list of users of Logos/FL would certainly be a huge chunk of "influential believers" worldwide if someone had a use for such a list...

I am, by no means, very experienced in Logos having just transitioned from Wordsearch. But, I can say that I took one 4 day weekend and watched his "Camp Logos" 1 and 2 sets. By the time I was done I am very comfortable with everything. I went back in and picked up some Canvas webinars from the library, as they weren't covered in Camp Logos, but other
