• Re: Love all the new resources...but

I don't know what steps are needed or how Logos implements the resource linking for new works, but I would think it is a bit complex. First, we have to define what we mean by "new resources" and "old resources." By "old" and "new" do we mean the year when these resources were written? Or, the year Logos digitally published them? A resource that Logos

Good point, Abi Gail. I pray that God the Holy Spirit will teach us (me) His deep truths, how to effectively use Logos, and guide our (my) steps in the uncertain chapters of life. Blessings, David

Hey thanks Jacob. I rarely use any of the Hebrew resources (since I don't know the original languages), but it is good to know the very basics of word and character order. Blessings, David

  • Hebrew language character order

Hello, In the Hebrew language, do you read the letters of each Hebrew word from right-to-left, just like you do with the biblical text? I just want to make sure I understand the very basic concept. Thanks, David
The English word simplified version of it is an entry point into the better stuff for those who don't know the original languages. I showed above how to get into the Hebrew or Greek BWS from the English word if that's all you know to start with. You can still derive a lot of useful info from the Greek/Hebrew BWS even if you
Here's a way you can study this question using your Logos tools: You can do a Bible Word Study on the Hebrew and Greek verbs translated "test" and then use Grammatical Relationships to find out who is used as the subject of that verb.
Hi Rosie! When I use BWS as suggested, I don't get the Grammatical Relationships

I feel sort of bad for bringing my question to the forums. I was working on some of these claims* that were posted on another public forum and, without much thought, asked for opinions about the matter here. These are the kinds of claims* (and questions) that non-believers are making! * contradictions in the Bible Peace and Blessings to you all, David

Thanks Kevin. I had the feeling that it would display only one verse at a time. I'll need to check out Passage List - not ever used it before. David

  • God's testing of man

I am looking at several passages, to respond to several claims (found on TV news websites) that the Bible is full of contradictions. Currently, I am working on the claim: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE HE God knows the hearts of men Acts 1:24/ Ps 139:2,3 God tries men to find out what is in their heart Deut 13:3/ Deut 8:2/ Gen 22:12 Why do

  • How do I open multiple verses in Logos?

I know how to display multiple bible verses in the Copy Bible Verse tool. I enter each verse reference, separated by a comma or semi-colon. How do I get Logos to open multiple verses from the Go search window? Or, do I have to open each verse one at a time? I want Logos to display each passage in its own panel. thanks, David

Just my speculation....but Google's eventual goal is to allow you to search by just thinking the item(s) in your mind. Controlling software by direct connect to the brain or by brain wave analysis is now possible. The gaming industry will probably be one of the first to adopt this technology. I remember several years ago I read an article where a rat

Hi Mark, No need to apologize. I guess a few of us are a bit puzzled why in the current product Logos had dropped the features you described that are found in the previous L3. Also, in the software development world, whenever a new update is provided, developers usually provide accessible information pertaining to what is being updated and the reasons
It sure seems odd to me that Logos training manuals wouldn't take advantage of the Logos engine... Richard, It looks like you have several options. Depending on available funding, you can: 1) upgrade your hard drive, as others have noted in the response. (Many places to purchase one, but I personally use newegg dot com) 2) upgrade your OS to Windows 7 32-bit (if you have not already). At one time, I upgraded my Pentium 4 (I built in 2003) from Windows
