Oh, I was referring to the synchronization of program setttings and resources, not the homepage. Sorry for the confusion. The issue has gone away. But thank you Thomas for the link. David

Thanks Kevin. However, looking at the updated L4 files still does not explain what the updates are. A bit more explanation from Logos would be nice. David

I get an error when L4 tries to sync. Even when using the command "sync now". Attached is my log file. David 85064.Logos4.log Edit: here's an excerpt from the file: Libronix.DigitalLibrary.Synchronization.SyncClientException: Update failed ---> System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error. at System.Net.HttpWebRequest

Although I got resources that I probably will never use (and yet, several of these resources I am excited to have), I went the base package upgrade route

Hello everyone, I've been posting here since July I think, and didn't realize this thread existed. Since then, I've gotten tremendous help from many of you, including Rosie Perera, Mark Smith, Dave Hooton, William Bingham, Kevin Becker, and several others. Just want to say Thanks! I started using Logos this summer in June. Back in 1997/98 I needed a

I'm not a student of history; in fact, when I first came across the reference Gary had mentioned, I thought it was Sophocles the Greek dramatist. David

Hi Gary, I have sometimes thought the same for these older resources. I've wondered why these resources are still valuable. But, then, Lynden presented a very good point about historic research. Perhaps someone is writing a dissertation on the development of Greek exegesis in church history. Who knows. Also, Logos must continue to supply resources for

Thanks for reminding me, Lynden. I forgot that the edit function only works within a few hours from original post. I guess someone from Logos can remove my address from those posts. David

I've been using the "Word By Word" tool (WxW)) in Exegetical Guide and like how it displays one verse at a time (in Greek or in Hebrew) when linked to an English bible. See the first picture and notice the passage box of the EG is in the format "book, chapter, verse". I have noticed, however, that when I scroll to John 16, the WxW will process ALL the
