    Thanks for the replies. Basically I am frustrated to be at the mercy of a commentary or worse, to not understand what the commentary is saying. Case in point, today I studied 2 Sam 7, vs 19 has some different translation choices (ESV vs NIV + footnote in the NIV). I am not equipped to understand the reasons...... I think I am going to have to start

    Hello everyone - I have not had the opportunity to study Hebrew (zero) . I bought Zondervan's course and need to start it, but in the mean time I wonder if you can suggest some resources that help know what I am looking at in the OT? I know its a pretty broad question, but any input is appreciated. Thanks

    I need to do a word study in Philo...my problem is I can only return Greek results. I have the works of Philo in English but its not tagged to the Greek. Is there a way to see English in parallel?

    Hello friend, do you have the "Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament based on Semantic Domains?" If so that is your best bet. You can do it two ways: 1. Look up the LN number when you right click 2. Go to Vol 2 and look it up in the index (English) to find all the associated entries. Here is what I see for "mind". (cant screenshot on this pc) mind

    Have you ever stumbled upon a resource in your library that blew your mind? I was in a class on hermeneutics and was sent home to do some work on a Greek word.....It was then I found the "Lexham Research Lexicons" I need to look closer at it, but I am pleasantly surprised to have it. Have you discovered any treasures in your library?

  • How does syncing work?

    Every once in a while I will be working on something for hours.....a crash will occur and so. reopen Logos and the layout that opens is from days ago. Why hasn't it been syncing? I know...."Submit your Logs".....Frankly I don't have time to figure this out. I need the program to work. If I click the sync button should this ensure I am synced????

    I came across the "Early History of the Ancient Near East" but it isn't in Logos. Can anyone recommend a resource within Logos that would help me grasp the general history of the same period? Thanks
