  • Re: Chapter formatting in personal books

I'll post pictures of what I was trying to do tonight. But, it looks like what I'm trying to do isn't possible-- I found this on the Logos wiki: "Logos requires Table of Contents entries to be on a separate line and have its style set to a Heading style. This means that the dictionary word has to be placed above the definition but it also means we cannot

  • Chapter formatting in personal books

I'm trying to build a Bible personal book in Logos, but am having trouble formatting the chapter headings. I'd like to format them the same way Logos does -- for example, look at the ESV, where the chapter number is on the same line as the first verse of the chapter. The ESV also shows, "Chapter N" in the contents. If I use Heading 2 for the chapter

  • Re: Too many typos in ASV to report

Thanks for the link -- I'll have to see how that ASV Personal Bible was put together. Here's a diff with books and chapters. It's a little messy, but I think it's usable: 0216.ASVCompare_WithBookAndChap.pdf

Yes, I think you're on to something. It is missing the apostrophe on the word "seed's", just like the Logos version is. So, it looks like

I went through the above process to regenerated the diff and produce this file, and

Thank you! Yes, I can do that. I'll write a script to get the results in a readable format, and post it here.

  • Too many typos in ASV to report

I found over 600 typos (mostly minor punctuation, like colon instead of semicolon, extra periods, etc, but a few minor word changes as well) in the Logos ASV version, and am not sure how to report them all. It would take forever to report them one by one... I found them by doing a diff between the Logos text, and the ASV text at https://github.com/openbibleinfo
