Thank you Phil for clarifying and for taking time to read/respond to the forums! That in my book is good customer service and very appreciated!

  • What "Soon" means or at least approximately means would be helpful.

First off this is not a complaint thread. I would just like an estimated for the approximate time frame for the activation of the minimal cross grade. Are we talking any day, a week or two, a month or two? I fall into the category of very excited (possibly anxious) to upgrade but can't even remotely afford to do the regular upgrade (in my case platinum

  • Re: Latest iPad update is very nice but...

My mistake! It works now! It must not have synced correctly earlier, I did notice later that I was having some sync issues that have seemed to have been resolved. Ok, I seem to have misread a temporary hicup for a missing feature. I guess the ap is at what I would consider 100% now. I am very excited about this! Thanks, Logos! And thanks to all who

  • Latest iPad update is very nice but...

With the latest iPad ap update I now am willing to use the iPad for bible study. However, I feel like its still only 90% there. For instance the need for highlighting to synch across platforms is still there. Is this something that is just not possible or will be available eventually with further updates needed? Thanks for the hard work!

  • Re: Encyclopedias and dictionaries

If you prioritize them right after your prioritized bibles (this is done from the library panel) before your lexicons, commentaries, and anything else they should show up in the info window. One thing to consider is the speed of your computer. The info window takes a bit (depending on your computer) to populate with the definitions. Mine takes less

  • Re: Encyclopedias and dictionaries

I think it's also worth mentioning that if you have the info panel open it will show the definition from your dictionaries of the word in the verse you hover over as well as the lexicon entry for the coresponding original language. Hope this helps

  • Windows Crash during update to 4.3sr3

During the udate to the latest version windows shut down and logos will not start. I'm thinking it crashed after removing the old version but prior to the new installation was complete. Would the best course of action be to redownload and install the latest version and if so where do I find it to download? Thanks in advance.

  • Just another person wondering about highlighting.

First off, I love that there is a free app for L4. My primary interest for it is more portable reading of my bible/books, however, I never utilize it in this way because I cannot highlight (not having to use another app for notes would also be nice). The apps only real use to me is replacing my bible within a small group context, those occasions where

  • L4 on Win 7 Resource Location

Where do I find my L4 resources in Windows 7? I'm trying to verify the last update date of my Lexham Septuagint. The Library doesn't show that it was updated and I seemed to remember thinking that strange after the earlier update. As if mine didn't get updated. I'm not showing any updates available and I should shouldn't I? Thanks in advance.

  • Re: iPad app that slaves your pc?

I ended up trying Remote HD but found its cursor control very akward so I purchased LogMein at the discounted price. Its virtual mouse is much better for cursor control and worth the extra dough.

Thanks for the info guys. Pratik, in the screen shots on Remote HD site it looks like the full screen mode actually doesn't fill the full iPad screen (there is space at the bottom. Is this the case? The reason I ask is I want to use this to access Logos 4 full program on my iPad and want to be able to utilize the full screen space for my Logos Layouts

LogMein is on sale for $10 cheaper but I'm still deciding. Someone mentioned Remote HD which is only $4 and has wake on lan. Desktop Connect also has this functionality for $11. Anyone with experience with these?

  • Remote Access Apps for the iPad? #2

Hey Guy's, I was doing some last minute research before buying LogMein and noticed in the comments that it no longer supports Wake on Lan which I understand as that you can not wake your laptop from your iPad anymore. Am I right on this? How much of a problem is this? I would imagine that means that unless I plan ahead and make sure my laptop doesn
