  • Adding information to the Information Window

I'd like to request that some "missing" information be added to the Information window. For the most part, the information window, when clicking a word in the Bible, displays the information that is displayed in the right-click menu. The exceptions to this is the "syntactical force" info and the "speech acts" info. It would be helpful to have this info

Here's a screenshot of the popup that comes up when making a highlight Here's one when making a note: I'm just wanting that little notebook dropdown on the top of the note dialogue to also be present in the highlight dialogue. But the "sticky" feature would do as well :-)

No, definitely don't want all of that – what I'm requesting is I think pretty simple. When you make a note in the mobile app, there is a drop-down at the top to choose which notebook to put the file in. In creating a highlight, only the highlight style option appears. I'm just wanting the the drop-down to choose the notebook to be there.

I disagree. I recognize, use, and enjoy the new features of Notes. I know all of the ways I can filter. But when working through a book, notes and highlights don't always land in the same notebook for me. So the fact that I can filter to see all of the notes from a particular source doesn't necessarily do me much good if I'm looking at a notebook where

Because I’m not an animal seriously though, I want highlights and notes all in notebooks - and typically after I read a book and make highlights, I go back through the highlights and make notes on some of them

  • Please Simplify Highlighting process

the latest mobile app has slowed down my reading ability quite a bit. My preference is to read on my iPad, but to highlight text while reading now involves the actual highlighting, followed by clicking on it to “edit note,” and then specify the notebook. This is A LOT of clicking to make a highlight. the minimum that could be done to help

  • NET and CEB reverse interlinears

I would really like to see the NET translation and the CEB translation get the reverse interlinear treatment. Both are excellent translations, though they fall at different spots on the translational-approach spectrum. As the CEB also represents probably the most ecumenical and global translation and study bible, the CEB study bible notes would also

  • Shortcut Key to create Note

With all of the shortcut keys in Logos, I'm surprised there is not one for creating a note. With the move to the new Notes in Logos 8, I would love to see a keyboard shortcut for creating a note. On a Mac, Option-Command-N is unused.

  • rearrange, reorder, and disable highlighters

I would like to suggest that highlighters be made more customizable for users. Especially with the change to notes, the dropdown list of Highlight Style takes too much time, especially with a number of palettes that I don't even use. If these could be rearranged by users, we could place our most used ones at the top.

  • REQUEST: Please bring back the ability to move through annotations

In Logos 7 we had the ability to use the up and down arrows in the locator bar to move through "article", "page," "search result," and "annotation." I love the new Notes in Logos 8, but we have lost the ability to jump sequentially from note to note in a resource, and there is no way to do this within the notes and highlights sidebar. p.s. if there

Can someone here tell me if the suggested search strings in Noncanonical Texts’ Use of the Bible: Dataset Documentation actually worked for you? They suggest a number of search examples, but none of them worked for me.

  • Making sense of differing morph search results (bug?)

I have constructed what I think is the exact same search using a proximity string search for various Hebrew Bible texts (and the LEB), and then constructed the same search using the morph query document for Logos Now. I am having trouble determining why I am getting such different results, particularly the LEB and the morph query results, which are

  • User-defined citation style

I would really love to see Logos integrate into the system of those who make regular use of reference managers. While I love Logos' footnoting ability, the reality is that this is not saving me any time because I make use of a reference manager in my writing. What I would love to see is the ability for us to define what our citation would look like

  • minor bug: click for info in information window with discourse features

When my LGNT has the discourse features enabled, words that are right next to a discourse marker (all of the various little blue icons) clicking the word to populate the information window will not work. See John 7:9 for two examples.

Thanks Doc B, and thanks all, for your kind words about my course. The course is identical on both Udemy and my own platform. I am trying to drive new users to my own platform rather than Udemy, as I already keep my cost very low and Udemy takes a large chunk. But I am and will continue to publish on both. I think I caught everything from Logos 7, but
