There are scores of useful commentaries. I prefer bedrock ones that focus on the text to those that attempt to be expository or application oriented. I see commentaries as something that often give you insights as to what is there, but you have to build your own exegetical picture. Biggest hint I can give you is to sit with the text as long as possible

FWIW, I strongly recommend the new Concise version of the NIDNTTE. In it, you will find some of the reasons for and against the TDNT and the versions of Brown and Silva. The usual person wants to dig for understanding without digging themselves into a hole that they cannot get themselves out of again will appreciate the meat of this edition. William

It gives a helpful framework for thinking about the text in terms of a sermon or Bible study. I really like it, but I would use it after one has exegeted the passage under consideration.

Net 6 is officially released. https://devblogs.microsoft.com/dotnet/announcing-net-6/ So I suspect FL is up to their eyeballs trying to make it do stuff for everyone using Logos not just Apple Silicon.
-
I have this in paper. It really ought to be bundled.

It's also possible that the item is part of something currently being renegotiated with the publisher. I remember hearing that FL renegotiates contracts with publishers for material. Publishers have to do their own contract renewals with their authors. So expect a certain amount of churn. Maybe this will come up again soon.

I bought an iPad Air with 256 GB about 2 years ago. I have a huge library in Logos and the gobs of stuff I have downloaded into my Air don't make much of a dent at all. I think a big drive will easily handle your resources.

The NET Bible is part of my first Logos 9 package. Gets a little frustrating waiting so long, but I know these things are a bit of a challenge.

FL has truly made us addicts in terms of building our libraries.

Aha! Thanks Graham!

I tried exporting slides from Sermon Builder and it works just fine. But I am real inept as to try and changing how they look. White on black is real retro in my book. Any suggestions. I'm using LibreOffice Impress but it should mimic PowerPoint.

I use an iPad Air from 2019. You don't need the horsepower for the mobile app but I am sure it's nice. If they can push more functionality into the app, I would be all for that.

This does stuff in relation to the performance of the underlying code that Logos uses. The page I found on Microsoft's web site says it's current technology, so that's a green light to keep using it.
-
I still leave it running. As far as I know it still does something useful.

I really like using Stardock Groupy if I need to open a bunch of stuff. I do most things these days on a laptop and this enables me to keep multiple windows at bay.

I grabbed the Portfolio library even though I couldn't tell all the books that were in it. My dynamic price netted me 17 volumes at a tidy 2.53 per volume. A couple of meh ones but some real good ones so it worked out just fine.

I been working mostly on a 15 inch laptop for the last couple of years. The screen is 4K and it has spoiled me. I know if I go back to using my desktop again, it will be because of a high resolution larger monitor and that would be 4K or more.

That's my experience as well. Windows 11 is supposed to be more optimized for SSDs so that's probably one reason why it runs better.

OK it now decided to work properly again after another restart So the question I have is this Your Content in the Passage Guide linked to a web sync. For the last several weeks I have only been using my iPad and this one computer, so I am curious as to why it would not be readily up to date.
Can you give an example of what you are seeing, and then an example of what you expect to see.
I opened a passage study layout referencing John 10:22-42. The same reference is in my sermon. It's showing as a hyperlink. Normally this shows up in Your Content. But it's not at all. This happened once before and
