  • Luther and his margin notes

I had asked this in the Lutheran section, yet I'm not all that confident in getting a good answer (modern Lutheranism seems to have thrown him under the bus). Does anyone know if there is an English translation of Luther's margin notes to his Bible (1534-1545) ?

  • Luther's margin notes in English?

Lutherans... I feel like a "blockhead" and need your help: Is there an English translation of Luther's original margin notes to his Bible (1534-1545)? As someone who loves original Reformation doctrine, I think his margin notes would be priceless.

Thanks for the response, I hadn't thought of that before. As I appreciate the default font of Logos, is there no way to customize the font of any individual Bible or book?

Anybody else with this issue? I tried searching through the forums and couldn't find anything specific like this.

  • Geneva Bible & odd line spacing under printer abbreviated words

The screenshot shows the line spacing error under words such as: "yͭ" and "judgemẽts". This also shows up in the first verse; perhaps from the formatting of the "A" in the first word ("DAre"). It doesn't matter if it is single column, without columns, or that the line spacing is set to "tight", "normal" or "loose", justified or not. It shows up with

[quote user="Dave Hooton"] [quote user="A Reformed"]AHA! The fix: - I set the series of the KJV 1900 to simply be "The King James Version"; whereas the KJV Apocrypha is still in the default "The King James Version with Apocrypha" (I cannot remove the KJV Apocrypha from all series by leaving it blank for some reason.) This was somewhat solved, yet I will give it a run-down: [quote user="Savanna Lineberger"] Do you have your resources linked? I appreciate the reply. I've gone through the logging process, with the crash as well. Which of those .log and .txt files should I send? All of them?

  • Logos crashing (KJV 1900 cross-reference Apocrypha issue)

I use the KJV 1900 as a main Bible and Logos automatically attaches "The Apocrypha: King James Version" to said module. (Annoying, as it replaces the KJV 1900 in the same tab, instead of opening a new one; yet no real problem there.) For the KJV 1900, it has cross-references to the Apocrypha. (Again, no problem.) In a good way, I somehow made the Cambridge

Please take the time to vote on these. These are great for all Christians! Calvinists can soak up the timeless truths. Roman Catholics can research them to store up ammo in their ongoing Counter-Reformation. Arminians, Pelagians, and Anabaptists can use quotes from them to rage about on Twitter. Modern Calvinists can squirm about how much they have

It'd be nice just to have the plain book, instead of needing to pay extra for a denominational commentary just to purchase it. Also, I did own the Lutheran edition, and when copying the citation for the ESV Apocrypha, it just defaults to the Lutheran citation info with no mention of the ESV and I find that small detail irritating.
