Any others out there? Logos updated on win 10. Norton tagged some file - sqlite, I think it was, and very unapologetically deleted it. Logos doesn't work anymore :(

Another two cents on Chinese translations - (sorry) - yes the characters may be freely interconverted back and forth between simplified and traditional script freely, but there are terms that will be viewed as between odd to just plain wrong by various groups of people, ie mainlanders vs Taiwanese, Cantonese, or Hong Kong residents (Western influenced

Sounds good. Thanks!

Here's how the 365 Day Children's Bible Storybook displays on a 1920x1080 screen. Anybody know if this can be changed? Also - in the Vyrso website preview, the illustrations did not appear on this book or other children's books. That makes it really hard to shop for a kid...

OK, so it's still happening. Opened my saved Luke layout, closed Logos, and restarted it, and the ESV opened up again. The other layout I was using was a bit simpler. Win 7. Logos 5.0a SR3

I've been having the same issue since Logos 4, but was too lazy to say anything. I've a number of layouts with ESV on top, and each day I close the table of contents, and the next day, it's open again when I restart the computer to the same layout. It doesn't happen with just ESV alone on a layout, and I've tried to determine the minimum number of resources

Enough? :) What is this enough thing you speak of? I'm just me usually also. I like NAC, but sometimes it's a bit party-line in terms of interpretations. I find many of its volumes to be about the right length, though. I do find it to be quite a bit better than EBC. I like WBC because it asks questions my convoluted head likes to ask, ie did John the

Nice :) I've come to the right place...

Hmm... Thanks - it works :) I don't think I would have thought of that behavior for a looong time...

I sort of lost track of what's in some resources, so I was going to copy portions of their tables of contents to a pbb. But when I copy the citation, paste it, and then highlight it as a header in Word 2010 (broke down and bought it...), it doesn't usually come up as a table of contents entry in the resulting Logos personal book. Yet turning typed text

Sigh. Tried LibreOffice. Saving a table of contents to docx crashes the application. Looking at their bug list it seems docx is rather unreliable at the moment. It will, however save a simple text document, which is a start, and far better than nothing. Tried Zoho. Will transmit a table of contents, but will not preserve extra carriage returns when

Just my 2 cents on WBC. As a layperson with a rabid curiosity, I was looking for a commentary that doesn't just parrot the conservative evangelical line (my background.) I like WBC a lot because it poses the questions I like to ask and gives a range of answers including the liberal. They're the kind of answers you'd figure somebody would be giving,

A challenge for your programmers: I'd like to search for "Q", as in the somewhat hypothetical Q document, but not get every other "Q" in existence...

For me the download was about three days in pieces. You can stop the download every couple hours if you're curious. Close and restart Logos. It will update the number of books, index, and resume downloading without much of a hiccup.
