  • Re: Community Pricing is broken

The Bid Now button works, but this only allows you to bid the going rate. You cannot click on a different number. Normally you click on the graph and it sets the bid. This does not work. I'm surprised no one else seems to be seeing this.

  • Community Pricing is broken

Since yesterday 9/26, I have not been able to bid on a CP item. The page just redraws with no bid added. Is anyone else experiencing this? I am using Safari on the Mac.

  • Re: noting corrections in iPad

I read primarily on my ipad also. We really need "report typo" on the iPad. What I do now is reserve a highlight color for typos, red. Then I highlight the errors. Then when I am later on my Mac I can select them and report them there.

When are we going to get the second volume of John Frame's Theology series. We need the next 2 volumes of his Theology of Lordship series. Logos has the first: The Collected Works of John M. Frame, vol. 1: Theology

You may find like I did when they process the $20 cancellation, the new one relocks and disappears from your library.

  • Re: Act fast to get a $49.95 Pre-Pub for free!

Don't be too sure. Something funny is going on. The statement that the product is free to those that own the Goodly Heritage product has been removed between yesterday and today. Unfortunately I owned the Goodly Heritage and had the order in for the Theocratic Kingdom also since it came from CP at $20. So I asked them to cancel the order which they

  • Re: Pre-Pub Orders no longer have "edit" option/only "delete" ??

I think if you click on the order name, it will take you to the page for that pre pub product. Then click on the price and it will take you to the order itself. In this screen you can change the credit card. On many orders you may have a special price for the pre pub so you would not want to delete it. If you hover on the area where it says you have

  • Twitter Daily Deal at 50% off - What a deal today???

I generally look at the Daily Deal on Twitter each day so that I have the chance to get individual books at 50% off. It has always been reasonable and a good deal - except for today. Today they offered the Poetical Books from the Sheffield Reader series. The whole series of 12 volumes is $159.95. This morning the single volume of Poetical Books was

I found that using the 2 browsers was not satisfactory. Everytime I clicked in the main computer screen the Bible Screen page came out of full screen. However, now with OS10.8.4, I found that if I opened a new window in Safari and moved it to the TV screen and then made it full screen, it worked. I can work in other windows of Safari on the main computer

  • Re: A CP Bidding Challenge on The English Bible Collection

You are right. the description is not clear. However, it would not be the Geneva Bible without the notes so I hope it includes them. Perhaps someone from Logos will comment? The description from Logos has the line: " With the inclusion of notes and study aids, the Geneva Bible was one of the first “study Bibles” to ever be published." This appears to

Thanks. I like this. I use an iMac for my Logos work and have a small TV attached to it for when I want to watch instruction videos and use my computer at the same time. I use another browser for this called Opera so that I have no conflicts when I am working in Safari. I set your Biblescreen page up in Opera and full screened it on the TV and it plays

The Coverdale Bible, also known as the Great Bible, was published in 1535. Here is some information from Logos and Wikipedia about it: The Coverdale Bible, translated into English by Myles Coverdale, was the first complete Bible translated into English. It was also the first English Bible to have the full approval from the Crown to be published. Finished

Here's some more on the Geneva Bible and King James from an article by Gary DeMar: Translation Work Begins In 1557 The Geneva translators produced a revised New Testament in English in 1557 that was essentially a revision of Tyndale's revised and corrected 1534 edition. Much of the work was done by William Whittingham, the brother-in-law of John Calvin

There has been a slight increase in the line at $80. Let's keep this going. If you have bid higher than $80, changing to $80 won't help. Here is some info on the 1560 Geneva Bible from ReformedReader.org: "For the last three centuries Protestants have fancied themselves the heirs of the Reformation, the Puritans, the Calvinists, and the Pilgrims who

  • Re: The Complete Classic Commentaries Bundle (1,537 vols.)

I agree this is is a good deal. I had all of the Classic Commentaries from CP and also most of the extras. This made it hard to decide. I found 1 item that was in my wish its for $99.95. That plus the $30 I would save on the Minor Prophets was over my cost of $110.26. So I ordered the bundle. I got an additional 59 books and if I add the 40 that I will
