Oh man this is a lifesaver for me! It was right in front of me. Thank you for taking the time to explain and that you included a pic. Very kind of you!

  • Search Within Documents

I could not find anything on this in the forums. I know I can search for a document. I know how to search inside a document once it's open. But what I want to do is search all my documents, mainly my sermons. For instance, let's say I have an illustration that I've used in the past but I can't remember if I've used it at this church. I want to use some

  • Re: Pressing the lowercase 'f' key while writing in notes causes the window to toggle between maximized and not

I can confirm that is is happening in Sermon Builder as well. Very much appreciate the workaround!

Hi Austin - Logos 9.8. My computer and specs are in my profile below. Thanks! Jerry
Jerry, What version of Logos are you running and what type of computer are you on? Also, as for the "Find" feature not working well if there's only one result, that is a task our developers will be tackling very soon. Thanks.
Same problem here. I can't figure out why it does it. Also: I love that they put a new search function in Sermon Builder, but when I am searching for something and there is only one instance of that phrase, it does not go to it. I have to scroll to find the highlight. The arrows only work if there is more than one find of the word or phrase.

  • Re: Logos 10 Beta Testing

No idea how you get chosen. I was in on V4 but never since then. I believe many of the heavy forum users are testers sometimes but I would guess it is more than post count. I would love to do it too again but they will choose who they choose.

  • Sermon Builder and Kindle

I started using Sermon Builder Sermon Manager in January and love it. I bought a Kindle Fire for the sole purpose of preaching and teaching from it. No other apps have been added and there is more than enough room on it. I write all my sermons on the desktop and then sync to Kindle for preaching. But sometimes - and there is no clear pattern to this

I did not consider it a major update.

but I wonder if a complete GUI change will come. It has not changed tremendously since Logos 4
Logos 8 was a major UI update/refresh in case you missed it The Toolbar Store icon in Logos 9 was a bold attempt to alter the UI - that was enough for me. • Features You Never Use

What are things in Logos you never use? Number one for me is Canvas. I've watched tutorials and practiced with it, but I cannot think of a use for it. I wish we could hide features in the same way we can hide books. It would simplify our menus when we are looking for things we actually use. What about you? What are things you don't use in Logos and

  • Logos 10 Speculation

We are a little more than a year away from Logos 10, if past patterns continue. That would put us at October 2022 This is total speculation, but I wonder if a complete GUI change will come. It has not changed tremendously since Logos 4 and they MIGHT want to do something different for version 10 - a bit of a milestone. Besides that, what improvements

  • Academic Discount Help

I am starting online classes soon at an accredited seminary. I tried to sign up for the academic discount but it wants a photo ID. I am taking classes online only and don't have one of those. I have a student ID and an .edu email. How can I get this done without a photo ID? Thanks for any help you can give!
Yes of course, science. Speaking of science, I better put my mask on and go get that experimental vaccine for that virus that’s never actually been found in a human. But hey, the scientists did find it in a Petri dish, and that’s good enough for me. Besides, I saw a well known Baptist preacher say the vaccine is a gift from

  • Re: To renew or not to renew that is the question

I am in JT's camp of thinking. Assuming a new release every 2 years, one comes out a bit ahead by using Connect. But that also assumes one would pay for every upgrade and the features it offers If there are no features you want in a given upgrade, you could wait for the free version a few months later. In that case Connect would not make sense.

Gayla - I know this is not a perfect solution, but a workaround until Faithlife makes this possible in the web app... Could you borrow someone's PC or Mac, load Logos, sign in, and then set all your preferred resources?
