• Re: Church History Survey: What would you like to see in Logos?

This kind of reminds me of when my wife asks what I think, but really doesn't want my opinion. Actually, I really have a great wife - I'm just joking.

I just had a thought. When I purchased the EEC back in 2011, my daughter was just starting kindergarten. Next month she will be getting her driver's license.
The Biblical Canon Lists from Early Christianity: Texts and Analysis by Edmon L. Gallagher (Author), John D. Do you know if the kindle version has good reproductions of any charts or would it be better to buy

  • Re: EEC

Although I don't regret my purchase, I probably would not do it again. If I remember correctly, one of the selling points was the discount purchasing it early because the price would continue to increase. It has gone up some, but given the various sales and volumes offered as the free book of the month I don't know how much I have saved. However, I

  • Sort notes in a notebook by bible reference

I'm sure that this has been answered somewhere, but I cannot find it. I am trying to sort my notes in one notebook (Isaiah) in order. The only options available are "date created", "date modified" and "notebook." "Reference" and "resource" are both greyed out. Also, my notes are anchored to a bible verse. Is this possible?

  • Can reading plans be combined?

I am making a list of the books I want to read in 2022. Is it possible to use the calendar feature where the books I want to read are all on the same calendar? For example: January 1 will list my devotional and any other readings for that day?
He wants more than the Logos free Library.
I'm not sure what resources your friend is looking for, but for several years I have been tagging the free resources I've added to my library and there have been quite a few good ones (EEC, Anchor Yale Commentaries, etc.). I know it's a slow process, but one can put together a pretty

So, if they are Lexham resources, why are they discontinued? I own (have access ) to the NT, but for some reason did not pick up the OT.

Daniel, I was referring to The Literal Exposition of Isaiah: A Commentary by St. Thomas Aquinas. So, you already answered my question. Thanks for following up with this. I took a course in seminary on Thomas Aquinas and am really looking forward to this.

I've had my prepub since 3/31/12 too. Can we can a response from Faithlife on this? I don't remember how long this has been in "production" but I believe it reached this status fairly quickly. My guess would be at least 7 years.

  • Re: Custom Bundles?

Customers are not allowed to switch out one commentary in a bundle they do not want for one they do. Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but believe that the publishers have a say so in what Logos sells, how they sell it and for what price. The CS Lewis bundle is a perfect example. As of right now, Logos can only sell it as a bundle. I did bite the

I do keep a backup of Logos and other files on an external hard drive that I update periodically. However, I've never done a "system image" and don't know much it. How is this better than backing up files on an external hard drive?

This discussion reminds me of the old Twilight Zone episode about a bookworm who worked a bank. He was reading during lunch when an atomic bomb destroyed everything, but he survived because he was in the bank vault? He wasn't too upset until his glasses broke and he couldn't see to read.

  • Re: A Much Missed Feature of the Sermon Editor

I do not know the number of people who use Logos, but it must be challenging to design a program that tries to meet most users needs. I also do think I have ever seen a company listen to its users to the extent that Faithlife does and change their program based on the responses they receive.

It's not great, but the only thing I can think of is to use "copy Bible verses." If you make a short cut to the copy bible verses tool, then one click opens it up and you can view what verses you want.
